Great roomy home with good views and easy access to many things Cartert county has to offer. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Newly constructed executive help with rooms to spare. Great indoor and outdoor paces. 3 bedrooms and a large bonus rooms.

Newly constructed home with 3 bedrooms, a bonus rooms with a pull out sleeper. 3 outside living spaces and plenty of parking. Fully stocked with linens and kitchen items. A short drive to the ferry to core Banks and Cape Lookout light house. a short drive to Harkers Island beach and the historical town of Beaufort. Easy to make trips to ferry to Ocracoke and a short drive to Atlantic Beach

Entire home is used for the guest during their stay

Most travel will need to be done via automobile

All of our rentals have great reviews. We do a lot of work to allow guest to enjoy their off time in a clean worry free environment
- Hunting dog allowed outside in a kennel or in the storage shed

-There is a non-refundable fee of $150for the first pet and $150 for the second.

Great time

We had a really nice time. House was perfect. At the end of the road is a beach. The people that own it came over and told us to leave. That was a real bummer. But that’s not the hosts issue. The house felt new. Great neighborhood to bring a dog. The restaurant at the end of the street was epic!!!!! Really a terrific stay. Thx

Cute beach house

We loved staying at Kim’s property. The multiple floors made it easy for us to spread out and we were close to everything on the island. We hope to visit again!

Loved the layout!

Loved the layout of this property. Perfect for family time. Not much to do on the island itself but if you are looking to get away from the world a little bit, this is perfect.

Almost Perfect

This home has everything we needed as a family of 3 and our pet. The location was great for our activities. However the house had not been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There was noticeable dirt/hair on the floors. The stovetop was filthy, and the 1st floor master bath left little to be desired. I spoke with the owner who wanted to resend the cleaning crew back out, but since we’d already settled in, we refused. Honestly the house needs some TLC from the owner. There are things that need some attention like the front door knob that’s missing a screw and the hand towel holder in the MB that’s about to fall out of the wall. I hope the owner will pay a visit and take a good look at the home. Unfortunately it’s long overdue for a deep clean and some maintenance.

Quiet Retreat

Our family came down for a baseball tournament, therefore it was a "business trip"; however we were able to enjoy everything the island had to offer from this location. The house itself was amazing and was situated in a quiet neighborhood. We were less than 5 minutes from the Harker's Island Ferries to enjoy some fishing and island hopping in our downtime. Fish Hook Restaurant was located right at the top of the street for lunch or dinner and the local Dollar General had all of the grocery essentials needed. The whole family enjoyed the stay, and we cannot wait to come back again!

We love Harkers Island!!! We love the not so commercialization!!!! Great neighborhood!!! The house was beautiful, lots of room. Very comfortable!!! We will rent this place again if available!!!!

Perfect for Family

My family and I (husband and my parents) stayed at Dolphin Retreat this January for a wedding on Harker's Island. It was the best location in proximity to the church and venue which were both on the island. The house was spacious and accommodating. We joked that none of us would leave. Kim was responsive as I messaged her the night of check-in to determine what I needed to grab at the grocery store on the way in. I wish I had more time to enjoy the house and beautiful views. We are planning to come back to visit friends, and would love to stay here again.

Beautiful property, great location.

Beautiful property and great location. It's in a very new community. Great views of the intercoastal area. Has two amazing family rooms. Plenty of seating. Dollar General is 4 minutes away. Harker's Island Visitor Center is 6 minutes away. Kitchen could use a 10" pan for cooking.

Love Harker’s Island house

Great well- kept house. Clean and fresh upon arrival. Nice linens, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, ample parking. Close to Harker’s Island ferry with access to National Seashore and Lighthouse. Owner is accommodating and easy to communicate with. Look forward to another vacation next year. Thank you.

Beautiful!

Dolphin Retreat checked off every box for our family. It was fresh and clean, the beds slept well and it even had nice water views from the loving room. It was also conveniently located near Harker's Island Fishing Center, where we kept our boat for only $20 / night. The price was also very fair. We plan to return in the summer of 2024. Loved it!
