3 Bedroom, One Bath Waterfront Home On Nelson Bay (Core Sound)
This sound-front home is perfect for the family who enjoys water activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing or just relaxing while enjoying the spectacular waterfront view. The sound is shallow and kid-friendly and an ideal site for learning to swim and frolic in the water. For a couple, it's ideal for a peaceful, private get-away.

Private sandy beach, shallow water dock suitable for smaller boat, excellent fishing and crabbing right off the dock. Crab pots provided no license needed in NC for a crab pot tied to your private dock.

There is a nearby boat launch. Unspoiled beaches can be reached by a boat ride across Core Sound or by car on Cedar Island, 8 miles away. Ferry's are available in Atlantic or Cedar Island for day trips to local beaches as well as Okracoke Island (a fun day trip-take bikes).

Outstanding cuisine can be enjoyed 30 miles away in historic Beaufort.

Like it seems everyone that stayed, we just loved Dianna's place. We found it so hard to leave in fact, and hope to come again. Communication was great, privacy and peace. What more could you ask?

This was our second time staying at this peaceful oasis and won’t be our last! The host was very prompt with communication and the house and property were clean and very inviting! Calm, peaceful place and great for young children with private beach. Close to National Seashore and in such a quiet neighborhood with a street great for bike riding and walks. Definitely our favorite vacation spot and we will be back for many years to come!

Had a wonderful time!

What a wonderful vacation spot! Our family had a fabulous time enjoying all this property had to offer. We caught crab, saw dolphins every day, went swimming and paddle boarding. Such a fun spot for a family!

Outdoor adventure

We recently stayed at Windswept! We had a wonderful time! The views are absolutely gorgeous. We all enjoyed fishing at the end of the dock. We brought our 14 ft boat and ventured over to Core Banks one day and found a bunch of conch shells. I also enjoyed walking the beach front every morning at the end of the board walk. We are looking forward to staying again soon!

This place is totally awesome loved everything about the area the dock the beach the fishing sunsets sunrises everything is awesome! This is great for family fun privacy was the best! We are considering this place for next year's beach trip.

Great place to unwind and have family time. Loved our stay. First vacation we were not rushed to go to amusement parks, etc. Just beach and fishing. We did take a day to go on ferry to visit a couple of the other islands. Loved our stay

Awesome place!

Windswept made me feel like a kid again! We spent hours on the pier and on the beach collecting shells and watching the fish. We can't wait to get back to Windswept again!
