The "Chain" Reaction Retreat brings the boat landing to your backyard

Welcome to the serenity and beauty of the Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca. My house is nestled amongst towering pine trees across the street from Taylor Lake which is the beginning of 22 interlocking lakes. A short walk to the boat landing and you'll find yourself in your own boat or kayak if you choose to bring one. Bars, restaurants, coffee shops are also walking or biking distance. This is ideal for someone that wants access to the water and town.

The space
O'BRYANS PUB: Built in 2018, we transformed the mother-in-law suite into a bar heated by a pellet stove and other amenities such as a 55 inch HD Samsung TV with full access to apps and sports programs. 100 year old barnwood creates an accent wall, providing for a true Wisconsin feel. The WIFI password will be provided upon booking. Wood and pellets are free and you can burn as much as you would like during your stay. The pellet stove works as easy as pushing an off and on button.

INSIDE: There is access to one bedroom on the main floor with a full size bed that can sleep two people. There is a charming modern bathroom next door to the room that has a walk-in "rain style" shower, heated floors, and a whirlpool bathtub. There are three couches, including a large sectional, and an air mattress. This would accommodate 4 people total with the spare bedroom.

There is also access to the basement that has a large sectional with a wet bar, mini fridge, laundry room, and half bathroom. The sectional area can easily sleep one so please advise if there is a third member to your party.

OUTSIDE: The home sits on .71 acre lot that you will have access to. Woods align the backyard that connect to another lake providing for an intimate and private setting. The space includes a large firepit with court yard style outdoor lighting hanging between the home and garage for ambiance. There is a remote for the lights that can be dimmed and on a timer.

GARAGE: There is a 18 X 25 ft. drive-thru garage (garage doors on both sides) located to the west of the property or left side of house if you are facing the house from the road. A great place to keep your car or boat out of the weather. It could also be utilized as a hosting area if it rains. There is no electricity in here. The garage doors roll up manually. This is available upon request and for an extra fee. Please message host to check availability as it may be secured certain days.

BOAT LAUNCH: The main boat landing for the Chain on Taylor Lake is walking distance, approximately 150 yards on the road from the property. One can easily drop their water recreational vehicle off at the landing and park back at the house without issue. This avoids long walks in between docking as this landing gets extremely busy in summer where people park miles away. Not to mention you avoid the launch fee altogether.
