Spacious Waterfront with large deck, 2 Docks and Bar/game room

Relax, take out your boat, fish off our docks or stay in and enjoy the game room. We have plenty of room for the whole family or a group of friends. The chain of lakes is fun even if the fish aren't biting with its variety of bars and restaurants. For ice fishing you can sit in the living room playing cards and see your pop ups right out the windows.

Our family of 5 and my brother's family of 3 totally enjoyed the property and everything it offered. The lakefront view was amazing! Thank you for comfortable lawn furniture. We loved the game room and played lots of corn hole, too. We all fit at the kitchen table for our family-style meals so a major plus! The beds were comfortable. The owners thought of everything! It was truly a vacation to remember.

Our group enjoyed 4 nights at the cabin with 3 boats and 7 guys. The cabin is in a wonderful location and was more than enough room for our group. Lori was great checking us in upon arrival and answering any questions we had before hand. Having 4 bedrooms and space for 3 boats limited our search and glad we connected with Lori. We made arrangements for trailer parking elsewhere due to the 5 spot max. We will definitely be back and enjoyed our stay.

Very generous host met us at our arrival to go over any questions and give us a rundown on the history of the resort/cabin. Our stay was wonderful and everything in the house was as advertised. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and the use of the house paddle board and kayak. Our family would definitely stay there again in the future.

Relaxing long fall weekend

I have been coming to the Chetek area from Iowa for over 30 years. The lakes are phenomenal and this area is so tranquil. This property was such a beautiful and spacious home for our group. It had many amenities that made our stay wonderful. We brought our ATV vehicles up on a trailer to ride around the area byt with the parking situation at the house it is probably not an ideal situation for that type of recreation. Other than that everything was great.

I planned it and my wife gave me a 10!!

Enough room for the whole family. Clean, comfortable and Lori was super accomodating. Game room is a plus. Everything i had hoped for and more. Fire pit, waterfront and great sunsets.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lots of great room in the house, very well equipped kitchen and awesome docks for our multiple fishing boats. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We’re booked for next year already, can’t wait!!

Totally Awesome Twisted Timber

We enjoyed the peacefulness. We were celebrating 3 of our grandkids birthdays. They loved fishing off the docks and dangling theirs feet in the water. Kayaks and paddleboards and game room were a nice bonus. Chetek ais a beautiful area.

Relaxing

The property was clean and as described. Our family had a fantastic stay. We all enjoyed fishing in our rented pontoon. The bluegills were huge! The kids enjoyed the game room. There was enough space for our family to eat meals together inside and out. Loved the new condition of all of the kitchen appliances, cookware, and dishes. Enjoyed relaxing on the patio while watching the kids play. Excellent communication with hosts. Overall a terrific place to stay.

Best Family Vacation we have EVER had!

This place exceeded every hope we had for this winter first time gathering of our combined family!!! The lodge has it all!!! The game room was perfect for fun times and the unique decorating, especially the kitchen table, was just fabulous!! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Dave was easy to contact and checked in often, but honestly it was so easy there was no need!

Enjoyed our week in Chetek

This house, it’s outdoor space, lake accessibility, location was everything we were looking for the week. We’re very familiar with Chetek and it’s Chain of Lakes and this was definitely a perfect spot for our family. We were able to dock the pontoon easily and no steps to house/lake. Spacious, well decorated and homey! The bar/game room was an added bonus. Loved beating my husband at darts! Owners were so nice and communicated everything we needed to know! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Nice property but be aware of rust/iron in water

The property was very nice. The bonus room was great for the kids. Lots of games and toys too. It’s only the first floor. Second floor is not part of the rental. The only real issue was the rust/iron in the water. It ruined clothes in the laundry. You can’t drink the water. Turned blonde hair orange. Renters should know in advance.

What can we say, we failed at retirement and watched too much HGTV!
We want our guests to know that we are renovating the upstairs unit for our family, and at times we will be upstairs during your stay. The units are completely separate with separate entrances and the outdoor area is only for you, our guests. The only time you may see us is when we are jumping on our pontoon to enjoy the water.

We owned a resort and we saw how families and friends made lifelong friendships & memories at the lake. This lodge was the dining hall for one of the first resorts in the area. It was built for fellowship and fun. Come and enjoy...oh, if these walls could talk!!

Twisted Timbers Lodge has a lot of room...everyone has their own space!
Beautiful lake views from almost every window. Fishing from two docks. Enjoy games, food & drinks on our huge deck. Take the party inside to our bar/game room to watch the movie on a 75 inch TV. Explore the Chetek chain of six lakes with several restaurants & bars to keep you entertained.
