Enjoy this newer lakeside chalet-style cabin on premier musky fishery Potato Lake. Large windows provide amazing sunrise and lake views and a shaded patio with hot tub is a great place to unwind with a cocktail or grill some burgers. Bring your boat or rent one from one of the lake’s resorts or help yourself to the 2 kayaks and canoe provided free of charge. The lake has 4 bar/restaurants offering plenty of dining and drinking options only a short boat or car ride away.


ABOUT THE SPACE
Enjoy the serenity of this newly built concrete lake home with 100-feet of lake frontage and private pier on the renowned Potato Lake. This 540-acre lake is designated as a Class A-1 musky lake by the DNR and is also excellent for other popular species. The winter months offer plenty of hunting, snowmobiling and ice fishing opportunities.

The cabin is quiet and secluded, located off a private, dead-end drive. Inside are 24-foot whitewashed pine cathedral ceilings with expansive windows that offer lake views from nearly every area within the cabin, including the master loft. The game room/garage area is perfect for kids, with an assortment of tabletop and arcade games and a large-screen TV for gaming systems (no WiFi for regular tv watching).

Modern amenities inside the cabin include 100MB fiberoptic WIFI internet with 65-inch TV, whole house water filtration system, air conditioning and in-floor radiant heating.

Pontoon boat rentals are available from neighboring campground/restaurants on the lake. Information provided in check-in binder.

Outdoor hot tub is available for use year-round. Seats 3 with a lounger.

Dock is available May through October - weather dependent.

Fishing: 540-acre Potato Lake provides excellent fishing for musky, northern pike, largemouth bass, walleye and panfish.

Ice Fishing: the cabin is located on Sugar Bay, which is one of the first places on the lake to ice over. The public boat launch or private shoreline also offer early ice fishing.

Snowmobiling: Rusk County Trail 131 crosses Potato Lake near Rose’s Bay Resort. This trail connects to nearly 300 miles of trails throughout Rusk County.

Hunting: Hunters have access to nearly 90,000 acres open to hunting on Rusk County forest lands. White-tailed deer, black bear, wild turkey, waterfowl and some of the finest ruffed grouse hunting in northern Wisconsin can be found in the area.
