Enjoy this beautiful, newly-renovated waterfront family estate located on North Pender Island in B.C’s Southern Gulf Islands. This two-storey, three bedroom house can sleep up to 6 people and is within walking distance of the Island's Winery and Cidery.

Amenities include a spacious patio overlooking the water, outdoor BBQ, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, in-suite laundry, TV with streaming services and wifi. The Driftwood Mall, a 5 minute drive away, offers a variety of local foods, a gas station, Liquor Store, bakery and retail services.

Our second stay at this beautiful property. It is such a comfortable house, and so well stocked with everything you need. We will go back again next year for what is becoming an annual December trip. Everything in the house is such good quality-the knives are sharp and the pots and pans are good quality. It’s a beautiful spot and just a cozy place to come back to after exploring Pender Island.

We had a fantastic stay on Pender Island. The location was very convenient for the grocery store and several restaurants / liquor store etc. The view from the living room was idyllic and it just made the trip so much more special. We received a notification that the property was ready for occupancy earlier than planned and this was very welcome as we had 2 infants who were due to have a nap and it was really nice to have the ability to drive straight from the ferry to the property.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Rawlings Retreat! The space is wonderful -- clean, spacious, and a great mix of original mid-century modern features and updated spaces. Such a great place to stay! We spent so much of our time on the deck -- such an amazing view! This was a great place to stay while enjoying Pender, warmly recommended. :)

This vacation rental was even better than the photos and so very comfortable and welcoming! It has clearly been recently updated with tasteful and fitting renovations but it also maintains everything possible from the past to make it feels like a true home away from home. The view from almost every room was amazing and deck was so comfortable for all times of day!

Disc Golf Weekend

Fantastic spot to stay on pender island, and perfect for families or groups alike. A tonne of games provided, beautiful deck, properly stocked kitchen ie tupperware to store you cooked food, oil and vinegar for cooking salt and pepper etc. We really enjoyed our stay on the property overall and will be booking again in the future!

Fantastic getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Rawling’s Retreat. Small but very thoughtful touches made our stay even more enjoyable - condiments and basic kitchen ingredients already in fridge/cupboards, cozy warm deck blankets, filled propane heater and BBQ. Highly recommend!

Truly special

What a wonderful getaway for families! It is in an excellent location, near to lots of activities but also on a secluded piece of property. The house itself is very well-maintained with new appliances, cute decor and plenty of little touches that make it feel like home. We recommend it highly especially for families with kids. We hope to come back before too long!

Immaculate & peaceful get away

Three of us stayed two nights. Very well equipped kitchen, bath, laundry, games. 2 huge entertaining area and three huge bedrooms and a beautiful deck. Loved it.

Very nice spot on Pender Island

The property fit our needs perfectly. We are a family with two adult kids and their partners that appreciated the available space over two floors plus the large comfy beds in the 3 bedrooms. Although the Island is nice and quiet like we wanted, the property is also close to a grocery (and liquor) store plus a few other shops and is walking distance from a cidery and vineyard. It is also on a cove and ideal for a quick dip. A wonderful and relaxing time. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

nice to be back

As we liked our stay in summer 2023 very much, we came back for another stay in June, 2025. Things were as good as last time. My only suggestion for improvement is to add some USB ports to help people charge their phones/tablets/laptops in the bed room and near the dinner table.

Spacious Waterfront House on North Pender Island

This gorgeous house is most definitely a "retreat". Beautiful views of the ocean and deer in the front yard every day. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked, including a coffee pot, along with a Keurig. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my wife's 50th birthday.

Great getaway, well cared for home

This property is on a lovely quiet part of Pender Island that is easy to access and not far from all things to do on the island. What stood out the most is the home is well cared for, stocked with quality items and you get the impression that the owners want you to have a good experience all around. Beds were comfortable, home was warm and had everything we needed. Would come back again!
