Take in unforgettable views of Bodega Bay, Bodega Head, and the open ocean beyond at this light-filled home in Bodega Harbour. This is the Northern California Coast at its finest, with a trail across the street leading down to the beach and a private hot tub waiting to welcome you back home.
Bodega Harbour is a beautiful community in Bodega Bay built around a Scottish-links-style golf course, which you'll have access to half a mile down the road. The house is about two miles from the wharves and restaurants in town and a few miles more from the rugged beaches between Bodega Bay and Jenner. This is also the perfect spot for day trips - to oyster farms on Tomales Bay, the windswept shores of Point Reyes National Seashore, or even Muir Woods.
This home is wonderfully unique in the windows and nooks that seem to wait around every corner, providing lovely spots to escape and relax. The great room is upstairs on the top floor, offering generous seating, picture windows that frame the water, and glass doors that lead to the deck. Prepare homemade meals in the kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gorgeous countertops, sit down for dinner at sunset while watching for whale spouts on the horizon, and stream movies in the evenings.
Spend your mornings with coffee and a newspaper outside in the sheltered courtyard, escape for an hour or two to send emails at the desk workspace, and reserve the evening hours for stargazing from the hot tub on the back deck. When it's time to turn in, you'll find that each bedroom has a TV, and three have en suite bathrooms - including a primary suite with a balcony overlooking the bay. Uniquely one of the bedrooms has a queen size bed, is very private ,and not near any other bedrooms as it is located through the garage and includes a kitchenette.
