Cute ranch house. Very private. Dark sky location with a view of the Milky Way. Lovely setup with a fire pit for ambiance. Would definitely stay here again.

Just WOW! Home was exactly as pictured, super clean, and perfectly stocked! We thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to the Canyon and the firepit was super each evening. Having coffee, condiments, and basics available in the home was great! Hosts were very responsive too - thank you!

What an excellent property! We enjoyed every moment we stayed at The Retreat. Keyless, so no worries about the arrival time (very convenient because of the long distances). So quiet and comfortable. Nice terrace to relax and enjoy your breakfast. Highly recommended!

Great hosts and great stay for anyone visiting the canyon. Well appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds with a spacious front deck and lots of subtle amenities that just made our visit really enjoyable. Highly recommend.

New Retreat Ranch

Very nice place to stay within minutes of the Grand Canyon. Pat and Kristy were wonderful hosts in responding to our requests and meeting our needs. You're out on the open prairie and can sit in a rocker on the porch or sit by a fire. You can experience sunrises and sunsets. We had a wonderful stay

They thought of everything

Well-appointed with thoughtful extras! Though the inside was cozy, our favorite spot was the covered front porch perfect for coffee & dinner. Note: the sofa bed isn’t a pullout but a pull together so not a true bed but it was fine. Would definitely stay again & recommend!

Peaceful getaway close to Grand Canyon

Enjoyed our stay at this peaceful home. Close to Grand Canyon so we enjoyed our days at the canyon and evenings looking at stars from the outdoor seating area of the house. While it was only myself and my husband, this home is perfect for small families. Games and TV inside, and grill outside make it a perfect quiet getaway. Pat and Kristy were always quick to respond and very hospitable. We came here after our elopement and they had left us a card and treats which was so very thoughtful of them! 10/10 recommend.

Perfect Base Spot For Visiting Grand Canyon

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days while we explored the Grand Canyon area and it was the perfect little retreat outside of busier outside park area. Beautiful sunrises over the mountains, and a nice fire pit area for enjoying the stars at night too! All of the little details are covered to make your stay relaxing and care free. The front porch was an amazing bonus spot to relax too. Having the washer and drier helped us to pack lighter and leave with clean clothes. This would definitely be a bonus for a family.

Peaceful Setting

This home was a comfortable distance, 20-30 minutes, from Grand Canyon Village, giving us access to groceries and other supplies on the way to and from. Compact and efficient, it also gave us sunset, moonrise and dark skies for star gazing.

Ein wunderschönes Haus

Auf unserer Reise durch die USA war das bisher das beste Haus, was wir erleben durften. Es ist fĂŒr alles gesorgt, ein sehr warmer Empfang mit eingeschalteten Lampen, KĂŒhlung und Snacks. Selbst Kaffee und alles dafĂŒr erforderliche ist da. Es ist super sauber und sehr gemĂŒtlich. Die Terrasse ein Traum mit zwei super bequemen SchaukelstĂŒhlen und wir haben am offenen Feuer an der Feuerstelle gesessen und die Sterne angeschaut. Es ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Pat und Kristy sind mehr als perfekte Gastgeber. Tausend Dank fĂŒr diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Outstanding Ranch Getaway!

My family stayed here as a jump-off point for a day-trip to the Grand Canyon. Sure, there are hotels that are closer to the GC, but a little house like this lets you barbeque your own meals, and sit by the fire and look up at all the stars at night, which we did. There is a little twin house about 70 yards away, just far enough you don't really hear the guests at that house. Otherwise, you have a 180 degree view from the deck, from which you can see for miles. The house itself is perfectly clean and well-equipped, and everything worked - TV, internet, washer/dryer, grill, A/C - everything. Everything seemed to be new and was perfect. The owners, who were quick to respond to any questions with a high level of detail, obviously have a passion for providing a great experience to renters. Fantastic!

Heaven!

This property was heaven. Very private, great amenities and close to the Grand Canyon. So many thoughtful items...outdoor and indoor games, firewood cut and ready to go for the fire pit, even seasonings and kitchen supplies like foil and plastic wrap. Saw wildlife including jack rabbits, fox, lots of birds. Loved it here!

Comfortable stay near Grand Canyon National Park

This property is about 30 minutes from Grand Canyon National Park. We liked the privacy and peaceful area. The house was clean and well stocked. Owner was easy to communicate with before and during our stay.

Great stay for out visit to Grand Canyon

We stayed 2 nights over our Spring Break trip with our 3 kids (ages 5, 8 and 10). An easy drive into the National Park and the property was stocked with essentials and games for the kids to play, which was very helpful by this point in our trip (this was our 4th stop). Property managers were super helpful when i needed to adjust our check-in day about 2 months before our stay to add a stop on our trip before we stayed here.

Great experience!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay, which included a day at the canyon and a sunset roasting marshmallows around the fire at the house. Would definitely recommend!

WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE

We had the best time 2 sisters and best friend.The views from this property are amazing.Close to Grand Canyon and day drives to Sedona and Flagstaff and Camp Verde and Williams a really cool town.We had sunshine,snow,wind and enjoyed every moment. Kristy and Pat have a wonderful place clean comfortable and felt like HOME.We hope to go back in the fall and visit places we didn't get to see and just sit on the porch and enjoy the view.
