A place big enough for everyone! 4 bedroom 3 bath and a kids game/sleep room. Life can be busy, but at this lake house everyone comes together. These are the memories that will last a lifetime, and the stories that will be told and laughed about for decades. The fishing is epic, sunset views are killer, and we're located in a quiet corner. Enjoy campfires, fishing and swimming on the lake, game night, ping pong ,sun rises, and so much more. With a boat lift, amazing stereo system, and a double deck pier which is my favorite place to star gaze !! Get a glimpse of an mink or an eagle and all other kinds of lake creatures !! got to come stay to appreciate life on false river .

We had a great time with family and friends. We have family that lives in the area that came meet us for the day as well. The camp was very comfortable for 3 couples and kids. The kids loved the dock area and swam and fished all day! The place was very clean, and the owners responded quickly with the few questions that we did have once arriving. We have stayed many places on False River over the years, but this has been our favorite so far and we plan to come back!

Great Vacation

We had an amazing time at Claire and Kelly’s place. Plenty of room for 8 people and at least 4 more. House was nice and pier was great. My son brought his boat and stayed from Sunday-Sunday. Pretty much had the river to ourselves other than a few other boats.

Cozy with stunning views!

The house is wonderful! It’s large enough for several families to share and have plenty of space. The kids absolutely loved the game room with beds and trundles while the adults slept peacefully upstairs. THE DOCK! Oh the dock! It’s spacious and perfectly set up for fishing. We caught some monster catfish and enjoyed watching the turtles and ducks all day long. It’s also a great place for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. The 2nd story of the dock was perfect for exercising in the sun with a perfect view of the lake. In the summer I’m sure we’d be soaking in the sun up there! There are also a couple great parks nearby as well as a grocery store, Walmart (which delivers) and a daiquiri diner within a few minutes. The only drawback is the road noise which was fairly constant with the sugar cane trucks going by. Otherwise, this is an exceptional location!! Highly recommend Honey Hole and New Roads LA!

Family Thanksgiving

The Honeyhole was a great place for a family to get together. The home was roomy with comfortable beds and plenty of room to cook, eat, play games, or sit by the fire pit. Sitting at the fire pit or on the boat deck looking out on False River was one of the things we loved about the house.

Loved staying here with our group. House had all the needed amenities. Host even brought us a propane tank when she realized we didn’t have one. A great time!

Family Water Sports & Fishing

VERY STEEP driveway. If you’re coming with boats, I’d suggest launching the boats 1st then coming back with the trailers to place at the home. The home was perfect for my for my families gathering/weekend Memorial Day vacation. Open floor plan overlooking false river. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, beds, a game room with 6 beds, and double deck pier awesome for hanging out.

Baseball tournament

Perfect place for boys during game breaks, especially with rain delays!! Claire responded to everything immediately and we had a great time. Boys were in heaven as they caught fish!

Great Stay

2nd stay in a 2 month time span and as the 1st stay, it was great. Very accommodating and homely. The only downside is the steep driveway, but other than that is is a great stay and location. Thank you Claire for your Great Hospitality
