Welcome to River Bend, your ideal escape for couples, families, or groups looking to relax, reconnect, and recharge. This 2,010 sq ft lake house is designed with comfort and connection in mind, featuring a wide-open living area, TVs in all bedrooms and the living room, and peaceful outdoor spaces with direct lake access. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway on the lake, a family vacation, or a friends’ retreat, River Bend offers the space, comfort, and scenery to make lasting memories.


WHAT PEOPLE LOVE
Enjoy boating, fishing, soaking up the sun, hanging out with friends on your private gazebo dock, porch, or sitting on the dock on a star-lit night. There are great restaurants/bars, historic mansion tours, many antique shops, and even ziplining in the area to enjoy.


WHAT PEOPLE DISLIKE
Bird poop on the dock, chairs, and tables. False River has an active waterfowl population. Our docks are cleaned weekly, but it is an endless battle for all lake houses to keep the docks and chairs poop-free. You can clean one day and can have bird poop the next day. We have provided a water hose and brush at the gazebo if any chairs need to be cleaned. We are sorry about the inconvenience. The reality is that's lake life!


SECURITY & MONITORING
House Security System can be used for your security with your assigned access code. There are "active recording cameras" that monitor the exterior and exterior doors of the lake house. All cameras monitoring the exterior of the house are recorded 24/7. We also have a monitoring sensor inside and on the back patio that monitors & records decibel noise levels only (not conversations), cigarette & cigar smoking inside the house, the number of persons in the house (no video cameras inside the house), temperature, and humidity inside the lake house. Guests have full access to the house, dock, and gazebo. Guests DO NOT have access to the owner's closet and the outside storage. Guests DO NOT have access to the boat lift. We have dock whips to keep your boat safe off the docks. Guests will have access to the owner's cell phone number for texting and calling with any questions before or during their stay. River Bend is conveniently located near Super One grocery store, Walmart, fast food, and fine dining in New Roads.


PARKING LIMITATIONS:
We have limited parking. At the house, you can fit (4) four cars. two under carport, (1) one on parking pad, and (1) one in the grass. If you have a boat trailer or two other cars, you will have to park on the road in front of the lake house. You can not bring a boat trailer down to the house.
