Nice, clean house, in what seemed to be a safe neighborhood. Lots of good food and coffee shops in the area. Definitely recommend staying here.

Tidy Relaxing Property

Robert and Kim have provide a nice collection of amenities for a vacation. The tray of snacks was a nice extra. The home is clean with plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware. The directions are simple and to the point. We’ll look at staying here again if the need arises.

We spend every Thanksgiving at Ford Field. This was our ninth year and we are so glad we booked this home rather than staying downtown Detroit. The house is perfect, comfortable and felt like home. Great location, with a park and grocery store within walking distance, and only an Uber away from the stadium. The owner was very responsive for any question. Looking forward to booking this for our future Thanksgiving stays. Thank you for a great experience!

Nice stay - but learned an important lesson!

The home has many renovations that are GREAT! Make for a comfortable warm home. The on-line description was however incorrect. It listed the property as 3 bedroom 2- bath and in the description, it also said 6 bedrooms 2-baths. When we first looked as we planned our trip there were photos of a basement that was furnished. Photos showed a queen or double bed (with linens) a large sofa, large screen TV on the wall and a bar area. When we arrived - there was just 1 bath and 3 bedrooms on the main floor and the basement had furniture mostly removed -except the bar, linens and some decor items. We contacted the Host... he was quick to reply and said there clearly was an error - he would work with us to compensate for the description errors. He believed the errors were VRBO's not his. We look forward to having this resolved. We made the best of it, had to double up on beds as we were 3 single people traveling with 2 small children (not couples) The Host seemed genuinely interested in assisting us. The home is clearly cared for and the stay - tho cozy... was nice! Lesson: confirm ALL details next time! Leave nothing to chance!

Lovely Weekend Getaway

We had an excellent experience at this property! Check in was easy and painless, the home was in great shape and perfect for our needs. Rob let us know everything we needed, and there were even a few snacks in the kitchen! I would definitely stay at this property again.

We purchased this property, so we have a place to stay when we visit our son and his growing family who live less than a mile away, also in Royal Oak.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We loved the size of the house, the backyard and the proximity to several Royal Oak parks. Its also a straight shot west on Lincoln Ave to get to our son's home and also to the restaurants and shopping in downtown Royal Oak.
