Welcome to Metro-Detroit and our super chic bungalow in North Royal Oak. Our cozy, stylish home is an ideal place to stay as you explore all that metro Detroit has to offer while visiting for pleasure or for business. This is a 3 bedroom with 2 full bathroom home boasting a game/entertainment and a zen den in the basement and a bungalow with a spacious bedroom and an office. The main floor features an elegant living area with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a kitchen, and a dining area.

The space:

This beautifully appointed home features lots of vintage details & charm including plaster walls, a living room w/ coved ceiling & hardwood floors throughout much of the main level. Highlights of the kitchen include quartz countertops, a farm sink, open shelving, and an adjacent, sun-filled dining room. A beautifully updated bathroom w/ a refinished, claw-foot soaking tub & pedestal sink complete the first floor. Upstairs you will find the third bedroom along w/ a loft space utilized as an office room. The finished basement includes an entertainment room with a bar, a roomy full bath w/ custom shower & a laundry. This home sits on a nice-sized lot & has a fully fenced-in backyard with a patio, providing an excellent space for outdoor entertaining. Convenient to downtown Clawson & Royal Oak.

During your stay, you are welcome to utilize all of the spaces and amenities. If there is something you're unsure how to use, let us know and we will be happy to assist!

There are locked closet doors in the bungalow where we store cleaning supplies that guests do not have access to

This is a very well equipped, comfortable house with plenty of space. The beds are comfy, the house is clean, the kitchen is stocked with what you need. I would definitely stay here again, and plan on it for any future trips to Royal Oak. The hosts are very responsive if you need to reach them, which is helpful. The check in/check out process was smooth and easy. Highly recommended.

The home was warm and inviting, clean and cozy. As we were there for a short birthday surprise visit with family, this home would also be great for a longer stay.

Great location to temp home

We stayed over a week and the home was clean, beds comfortable, and the property manager was GREAT and very responsive. I loved that they checked in immediately after arrival and during our stay to see if we needed anything. It was a convenient location to to get anywhere in Detroit area (including a day trip to Canada) Would stay here again!

From New Orleans to Detroit

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was super cute. I loved how clean everything was. The sheets where bright white and super soft and so where the towels. The house was perfect for us, we could be together and then branch off. For our needs everything was convenient and perfect I would absolutely stay here again.

Quick Trip Home

Shu and Christine are awesome host! They definitely were in constant communication with me if anything was needed. The home is small and cozt but for our family of 6 sound traveled. Outside of that 5 stars for thus cute bed n breakfast.

We spent several years in the area and it is always a joy to be back at our Royal Oak home. This home allows us to be central to all the main hubs in the area with quick freeway access along with being right next to Royal Oak and Clawson downtown. We love the local eateries and cafes being a quick drive and the walkable neighborhood.

This home is perfect for families visiting for business or pleasure. We would love for you to enjoy our home.
