Escapade au bord du lac avec bateau sur le lac George

Profitez de la tranquillité des montagnes Adirondack. Notre appartement de deux chambres, climatisées, chalet au bord du lac est situé à l'extrémité nord sur 32 mile de long lac George. Détendez-vous sur le pont en savourant votre café du matin ou regardez le lever de soleil à couper le souffle tout en balançant vos pieds hors du 40ft. Dock.
Peut accueillir quatre personnes confortablement, mais peut accueillir six. Queen dans la chambre principale, des lits superposés dans la deuxiÚme chambre et lit gigogne dans le salon. Apportez les draps et les serviettes. Oreillers et couvertures fournis.

Notre chalet est entiÚrement équipé pour votre commodité. L'eau publics et d'égout et ramassage des ordures fournissent l'essentiel tout en télévision par cùble, DVD, CD, et Internet sans fil font pour le plaisir intérieur.

Sur la grande terrasse de 10x30, vous détendre dans des chaises Adirondack prenant dans la beauté immaculée de la région. Parfois, un héron fait un survol gracieuse. Cuire le dßner sur le gril à gaz, de manger à la table sur le pont ou la table de pique-nique sur la pelouse, faire s'mores plus de la cheminée en pierre en plein air.

Profitez du lac dans notre canot ou en kayak. Pagaies et gilets de sauvetage sont disponibles pour votre usage. Location de bateaux de puissance sont Ă  seulement 5 minutes de route.
Il ya amplement de stationnement hors route et une salle pour votre remorque Ă  bateau sur les lieux.

Bord de l'eau est Ă  seulement 25 pieds de la porte d'entrĂ©e oĂč un quai de 40 pieds est disponible pour amarrer votre bateau sans frais supplĂ©mentaires (jusqu'Ă  26 '), la natation (Ă©chelle Ă  la fin du quai de 4 pieds de profondeur), ou prendre le soleil.

Il ya toujours quelque chose de grand Ă  faire dans la rĂ©gion des Adirondacks et le lac George. Bass pĂȘche ouvre la 3Ăšme semaine de Juin suivie par le meilleur quatriĂšme dans le nord avec des dĂ©filĂ©s, foires, et des feux d'artifice. La rĂ©gion est riche en histoire. Seulement sept miles de distance, visitez Fort Ticonderoga ou prendre le ferry au Vermont. Pour les randonneurs, il ya des centaines de miles de sentiers balisĂ©s et le dĂ©but du sentier jusqu'Ă  la Montagne de Cook est juste un 1/4 mile away avec une belle vue sur le lac.

A great quiet family getaway on Lake George!

This was the perfect location for a much-needed respite for our family. Just quiet enough to recharge with enough to do in the area to keep vacation interesting. Our kids had blast swimming and fishing off the dock. The cottage is very clean, cozy and comfortable.

This is a very nice cabin, well laid out and clean. The location is great and the owners are friendly. We loved sitting out in the yard in the evenings, looking at the beautiful view of the lake and mountains.

Cottage was set up perfect. Everything you need for the week. Owners were on vacation so we did on meet. Neighbors asked if we needed anything, had fun chatting with them. Close to food and fuel but quiet at the lake. Fun hiking trails and fishing was great. Schroon river is not far and the fly fishing was very good. As usual vacation went to quick

Best vacation ever

The site was great. View is amazing, and the backyard was perfect for all of us. Kids fished off the dock and we enjoyed the view and watched them. Plenty to do with local attractions and then the you could have fun with the canoe and kayak that are on site. The neighbors were awesome as well. My son caught a nice size large mouth bass right off the dock. Our boys are 15 and 10 and they liked the cottage more than Disney. The cottage was very clean and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would recommend this cottage specifically to anyone. Tom and Lisa

True Lakefront Excape

This lakefront cabin was the perfect spot for us. My wife and three girls, ages 13 thru 19, enjoyed the lake for all of its splendor. The cabin was the perfect size for five of us and included all the necessities to prepare, cook and enjoy our meals inside or on the deck. The cabin was clean and well prepared for our arrival. Owners, Carl and Eileen, have a place right next door. They were welcoming, very kind and helpful with suggestions, without being intrusive. Waking up to the 'Rising Sun', going for a paddle in the provided canoe and kayak, fishing off the dock and jumping in for a swim were exactly the activities we were looking for to enjoy a little rest and relaxation. We also rented a boat from nearby and took full advantage of the dock. The perfect summer vacation. Thank you Carl and Eileen!

Best vacation we ever had (and we are seniors)

Everything that we read was even better in person... First, the Adirondacks... Our first visit, the most tranquil, scenic beauty you will ever enjoy. Nature, history, family fun, water sports, good restaurants, whatever you are looking for, it is here. Secondly, the cabin... pristine, better than described, immaculate, wonderful amenities, and oh that view. You are feet from the most beautiful, expansive lake view you can imagine... quiet with very little evidence of civilization around you. Best of all, Carl and Eilieen freely shared their knowledge and love for the area with us. Almost like having a family concierge on the premises. We now understand why so many visitors are loyal and regular returnees to this heavenly camp. Cannot recommend it more highly. Amazing rustic on the water cabin

We had an absolutely amazing trip in this cabin. The views were incredible sitting on the back porch and overlooking the water. Fire pit was in a great spot to watch the sunsets and moon come up above the mountains. The dock was great to go sit on and hang your feet in the water. The area around the dock is a bit rock and sand mix but can definitely get in the lake there, it’s deep enough to wade in. We rented a boat during our stay and had no problem bringing it to the dock to stop for lunch. It was equipped with everything needed for the stay, we just supplied our paper products and food stocking. Location is only about 10 minutes into town for supplies and laundromat. Our only issue was the beds are very hard and a bit uncomfortable. My husband had surgery 2 months ago and had a really hard time sleeping as they are very firm. A little upgrade on that and it would be the perfect lake get away! Hope to return again sometime soon.

A Wonderful Place to Relax With the Family

A beautiful cottage on a quiet and picturesque section of Lake George away from the noise and crowds of the south end of the lake. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped, very clean and extremely well maintained by the owners. All provided equipment was in good to excellent condition and the property was exactly as described in the listing if not better. Our children greatly enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making smores on the outdoor fire-pit. A canoe, kayak, tubes and life jackets in all sizes are provided by the owners who are extremely gracious and very helpful. If you love water activities your search for things to do will probably end at the cottage itself or at most five minutes away at the local marina where you can rent a boat. Otherwise there are many things to do in both the nearby area (including hiking, apple picking and of course Fort Ticonceroga) and a large swath of the greater Adirondack region can be reached within a 90 minute drive. One additional convenience is that there is also a Walmart nearby which is extremely helpful if you forget something or need to do some grocery shopping.

Dream Vacation

My husband and I and our two children (now ages 10 and 12) have been visiting the Lake George area for the last seven years. We started at the Southern end of the Lake and eventually found our way to the Northern end. We are so glad we did, and that we found this listing. This rental is super clean as well as comfortable and cozy. It's perfectly situated on a quiet section of the lake with a dock right in front. We dock our own boat or you can rent one from a Marina nearby. Our children have learned to water ski, spent countless hours tubing and fishing, watched the sun set and rise over the mountains, and snorkeled in the crystal clear water. There are rocks and cliffs to jump from all around the lake. We have also enjoyed the kayaks and canoes that are provided. The community is warm and welcoming as are the neighbors. There are restaurants in town, as well as nearby Bolton Landing. There are local attractions (Fort Ticonderoga) and ferries to Vermont. It's something we look forward to every year as the start of our summer vacation. The moment you step out of your car and take a deep breathe, the view overtakes you and you can feel the stress start to wash away. I would highly recommend it to all.

Nice Cottage on the Quiet End of Lake George

Our family consisting of my wife, a three year old, one year old, and myself stayed here this past week. The location of this house is ideal because it is close to the town of Ticonderoga. We have a boat on the Southern end of Lake George and brought it up to this dock for the trip, which was more than adequate for our 23 footer. The northern part of the lake is much quieter than where we normally boat. It was a nice change of pace. It is close to stunning Rogers Rock, Hague, the Cliff Jumping Rocks south of Adirondack Camp. Our kids enjoyed watching all the boats go by from the local marina and State Boat launch site. It's also less than a quarter of a mile from Cooks Mountain trailhead, a challenging at times (with two small kids) hike that leads to a great view of Champlain Valley and Vermont. It was great to wake up every morning to the beautiful sunrise. We opened up the many windows in the house and enjoyed the breeze from the lake. This property has a decent amount of space on the outside and is cozy on the inside (it was a good size for our family of four). The cottage is stocked with toys and books for children, which was great because we did not pack as many as we should have. Additionally, the cabin is very well equipped for being as remote of a location as it is (wifi, cable, A/C and propane heat). The kitchen is well stocked with what you need (it has a crock pot which is not on the listing). We enjoyed our time here and used this spot as a home base to visit parts of Lake Champlain, VT, and other areas on the lake. The owners are next door if you need something. They are friendly and kind people that were a pleasure to rent from. Thanks Carl and Eileen!

The Perfect romantic cottage

The property has a great location. However the cottage itself needs some upgrades such as the bathroom. The shower was too small for adults. The location of the bathroom,Is quite awkward if more than one couple is staying in the cottage. The lake view is breathtaking to watch every morning. Very cozy in the evening. Seating around the firepit. Carl, the owner is very attentive. With any questions and concerns we had. He gave us great recommendations about the area ,overall we had a great time and highly recommend this property to others.

Such a peaceful cottage. My husband and I purposely got married in September because for years we always spend that week in Lake George. We were looking for a relaxing place on the lake and got just that. The cottage has everything you need and is immaculate. It was perfect for us to kayak every day. Fantastic vacation spot!

We just came back from our week long vacation at "Rising Sun". Everything lived up to the description of this rental. The cottage was exceptionally clean. cozy and comfortable. My husband, daughter and I spent our week boating, tubing, fishing, sight seeing and relaxing! Carl and Eileen are the perfect hosts! They are welcoming and warm and full of hints and tips on what to see and what to do. This was my FIRST time ever renting someone's "home" and they made it easy and painless with quick responses to my emails and texts. I would highly recommend "Rising Sun" as a vacation spot to anyone who loves the Lake George/Adirondack area...it's breathtaking beautiful! Thanks again Carl & Eileen...we loved all of it <3

Great R&R

We stayed at this cabin for a week and it was perfect as we were able to fish, go boating, swim and just enjoy some needed R&R. I was able to accomplish a major feat of mine in catching a Pickerel while floating on a tube where the owners of the cabin were able to help me bring it in. They are fun and just all around good people! Somewhat close to Burlington, Albany and Lake George if you want to do some exploring. Highly recommend staying here

Our Family fell in love with the Adirondacks years ago and have a great time playing in the lake and hiking the mountain trails. The location is fantastic ... close to town for restaurants, groceries, etc, a quarter of a mile from the trailhead up Cook's Mountain, seven miles to Fort Ticonderoga, and in a quite water ski friendly bay. Lots to do during the day and then relax by the campfire watching the moonrise over the mountains at night.

There is much to see and do or just rest on the porch, watch the sunrise, and listen to the world come live ... or make a campfire and watch it go to sleep.
