House was wonderful. Everything you needed was there from towels, linens, kitchen equipment. Only suggestion I would have would be changing out double beds for queens or twins made sleeping arrangements a little tough but we made it work.

So peaceful and quiet!

My group of three 50-somethings enjoyed this property immensely. It was a beautiful home, with magnificent views of the lake, and so blissfully quiet. It was an ideal place to stay.

Best place in the lake

We loved the place, so lovely, quiet, clean and beautiful view of the Lake, everything was perfect. House is in a deep area of the woods but once you are in place nothing else matters, host were great with us, definitely if I want go again to the lake I would pick this house.

Wonderful Home on the lake

My wife and I loved our stay. The home was beautifully furnished, clean, spacious, comfortable, private, and well-appointed with all the amenities as advertised. The best part was simply sitting on the house deck or boat dock, relaxing, and watching the activities on the lake. So peaceful. We enjoyed swimming and fishing. The walk down the stairs from the house to the boat dock was fine, as there are railings to hold. The walk up provided excellent cardio!

Beautiful house on the cleanest lake!! There are LOTS of stairs to the lake and into the cabin itself. Big open living space and a fantastic family kitchen.

Lovely Rustic Retreat. Excellent boat dock. Somewhat remote, with at least a 10 mile drive to limited restaurants in Ticonderoga. One hour drive by car or boat to Lake George Village.

Absolutely gorgeous property with views you won't believe. Loved spending time on the dock fishing and just enjoying the scenery with my kids and husband. There was room for our big family, and our teenagers were able to have their own space at night. Our family could come here over and over again, five stars all around.

This property is hidden in the trees above Lake George. Outfitted with everything you need. Be sure to bring your 4 wheel drive, as the driveway is very steep!

Our first visit to Lake George. This is a very quiet area of the lake which we liked and why we chose this rental. Although it really is far from everything! We rented a boat for a couple of days from Snug Harbor North to explore the lake and fish. Weather changes so rapidly here - hard to plan! We brought our kayaks with us, which we launched at Gull Bay boat launch down the road and paddled a mile to the dock at the house. As noted, there are A LOT of stairs. In addition, the TV area could use some comfortable seating and warmth - it was a very cold, damp room with not enough seating- only a love seat and a wooden chair. It was just my husband and I for 4 nights - our adult son joined us for two and we had to bring in a camp chair we brought with us so he had a place to sit! The master bedroom has a metal headboard which was very squeaky every time we turned over. We enjoyed the deck and the large windows with views of the lake and sunset and the dock area for sitting, fishing and launching our kayaks. Overall a good trip but rated a 4 for items noted.
