Two bedroom and two full bath home located on a wooded lot. Newly remodeled and furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Outdoor seating to enjoy the sunset and for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or enjoying the many local activities. A firepit is available for roasting hotdogs and making smores.

Located close to I 81 and I 70 this property offers easy access to many local attractions and year round outdoor recreational areas. If your in the area for work this location offers easy access to major traffic corridors and a great place to decompress after a day at work.

Things to do: Franklin County Military Trail of History (a driving tour), Finders Keepers an antique trail, the Sweet Trails of Franklin County and the Pour trail (craft beer and wineries).
Check out these attractions and recreational areas Whitetail Golf and Ski resort , Greencastle Green Golf Club, Great Cove Golf Club, Tuscarora and Appalachian hiking and biking trails. History abounds in this area with Gettysburg and Antietam Civil War parks, C & O Canal and Mercersburg home of James Buchanan and the Mercersburg Academy.



There are many local wineries to visit. Gettysburg Winery, Jan -Zell, Reid's Orchard & Winery, Jack's Hard Cider and more.

We only stayed 2 nights while attending our niece’s wedding in Greencastle,PA, so it was very conveniently located, close to downtown and the event site. It was very peaceful and quiet. I had no phone service until I got closer to town, but fortunately my Google maps still worked to get us around on the country roads. The home itself was very clean, and provided everything we needed. Didn’t use the tvs but very happy to have access to the internet. I would stay here again.

Lovely area and place to stay

Loved the fire pit, owner was accessible yet invisible. Loved the front porch, had laundry machines and everything I needed. Booked two more days after my teaching job in Hagerstown.

Pros: clean, comfortable and convenient to attractions in the area. Check in was easy and property owner was quick to respond with questions. Things to consider: driveway was steep (best for 4wd or AWD, Bedrooms were on opposite ends of the trailer (my clingy child did NOT like that), Smelled slightly musty upon entering (I lit a smelly candle to counter), Water smelled like rotten eggs. Considering all, we would stay again in the future.

Cozy and convenient

We booked this place for a short weekend so we can board at Whitetail. Only a 15 minute drive to and from the mountain. We will definitely be staying here again.

Cabin in the Woods!

Absolutely loved this little getaway. Felt very much like a cabin in the woods. Quiet, great location, clean, comfortable and completely stress free from booking to checkout. Will absolutely be returning here on our next visit to Whitetail.

Mercerberg Academy LaCrosse Camp

Peaceful, quiet almost said "isolated" but there was a house nearby. Appreciate clean floors and no dust due to asthma and both boxes checked.
