We are Nestled in the heart of the South Cumberland Plateau area near popular destinations like Foster Falls ,The Caverns, Tracy City, Tenn., It is the ideal location for a quiet weekend getaway full of hiking and must-see spots.

The story of Tracy City is full of rich character and scenic landscapes. Once rooted in coal mining, subtle clues of the town’s past are scattered about in the shape of relic coke ovens, miner trails, and celebrated statues amid lush forests and pristine rivers. Use our trusted itinerary of noteworthy restaurants and outdoor activities to explore Tracy City. These locations are perfect for a day or weekend outing.

You will have access to the whole house during your stay

Our home boasts two suites each with a bath room Luxurious king-size beds with posh linens. A bunk room with 2 twin beds

Great weekend away despite severe storm and power outage

The home is gorgeous and was perfect for our group (4 adults) and 2 kids. Home was well stocked and beautiful. Severe storm hit the last night resulting in damage in the area but thankfully the home we were in was fine

Great family stay

This little cabin was a wonderful getaway for our family of four with two toddlers. The kids loved playing on the extensive deck space and in the woods and the parents loved sitting on the covered, screened porch by the wood fire watching them! We’ll be back!

Family reconnect December 2025

Lovely home with indoor fireplaces (and outside fire pit). Vaulted ceilings, large windows, and fully equipped homey space. Super responsive owners and a truly relaxing getaway with hubby and adult sons. Thanks!!

Very Nice

We was looking for a place to stay so we could go riding at the OHV in Coalmont . This place has everything you will need and more ! Absolutely amazing home with all the bells and whistles. Beautiful lake , the whole community is beautiful and amazingly maintained. You have an outside area where you can do s’more’s and relax by the fire . Will definitely stay with them again .

Tracey City Cabin

The house was clean and comfortable . I didn’t realize that the property was in a tiny home community though. The homes are all right on top of each other and that took away from the cozy cabin in the secluded woods vibe I was hoping to have. I probably didn’t read the listing as carefully as I should have. Not a bad place but not what I had in mind.

Modern cabin, great stay for fall school break

Lovely home was very modern with everything in good working order. Grill and kitchen were nice which suited our plan to make dinners and spend time together as a family. Location made for a good jumping off point to trails in the region in all directions. One item I would be careful about is the steep ladder/stair to the upper loft bedroom. I wouldn't recommend that sleeping space for small children or anyone with balance or mobility concerns as you have to be very careful coming up or down, especially with luggage. The lofted nature and large windows also means limited privacy for anyone staying up there (parents - if you're looking for that alone time).

Starry Night was a Dream!

Starry Night was truly a dream from beginning end. Our check in was simple and the instructions for the keyless entry were simple and easy to follow. We were blown away by the property. The attention to detail with the simple yet sophisticated decor was on point. The home contains absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The soaps, shampoos, body washes Scarlet provides are delightful. Firewood was already available so we were able to make a fire as soon as we arrived in the phenomenal back porch. Mother Nature sent powerful storms both nights we were there but we felt completely safe and despite losing power our first night, the beautiful natural light of Starry Night almost made us forget we were without electricity for the entire morning. Scarlet was responsive the few times we reached out to her and always answered the phone immediately and provided answers to our questions. We adored this VRBO and plan to come back for a longer stay so we can take advantage of the hikes that are close by! Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Tiny [Mansion] Exceeds Expectations

Great communication and easy access began our lovely Starry Night on Monteagle weekend. The layout, elegance, and numerous amenities exceeded all expectations. Indoor and outdoors decor and the entire property is exquisitely outfitted. As well, The Retreat at Water’s Edge community is absolutely darling. With the numerous hiking trails, water access, and local attractions, we’ll be back again very soon. Oh, and for those who would like to watch the game or sample the local nightlife, check out Hank’s Bar & Grill only a short distance away!
