Beersheba Lake Retreat #1

Welcome to Beersheba Lake Retreat 1
Delightful and cozy, this 2023 custom built 1200 square foot two bedroom home will be your sanctuary from reality.

Nestled on a private 3 acre lake, enjoy the sounds of the birds singing and the breeze whispering in the leaves. Fall asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets and occasional owl. The perfect place to enjoy stargazing by the lake.

Designed with a modern flare, this house was built for entertaining and unwinding.
The downstairs bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bath equipped with soaking tub and shower.

The upstairs loft has two queen beds, en suite bathroom, and access to a private deck.
The large, gourmet style kitchen is fully stocked so that you can prepare a full meal. The main room with cathedral ceilings and numerous windows brings in plenty of natural light and offers a nice view of the property.

Enjoy walking around the perimeter of the lake, through the quiet woods of over 9 acres, with wildflowers, and beautiful native plants and trees along the way. Only one other cottage has access to the lake and property and it is discreetly tucked away out of sight.

You are welcome to bring your kayak and fish to your heart's content, you will find bass, brim, crappie and catfish. One end of the lake would be suitable for shoreline casting. Please note that the lake does not have a beach, but is surrounded by protective wetland along most of its shoreline. You can launch your kayak easily, however it is not suitable for wading or swimming.

The house is located down a gravel driveway.

Just minutes away from the majesty of the new Savage Gulf State Park. This newest Tennessee State Park has over 30 miles of hiking for all skill levels, glorious waterfalls, and magnificent overlooks where you can see for miles.

Just a few miles from the Coalmont OHV Park and less than 30 minutes to the Caverns Music Venue.

Important Note: Ladybugs are very common in our region. Certain times a year we do experience some ladybugs inside of homes. Please know that all lady bugs are removed by housekeepers during the cleaning process, but are likely to be back quite quickly in large quantities.

This is such a beautiful spot for some family time away! We really enjoyed the natural surroundings and the comfortable, stylish house. The town is quite small so it’s ideal for anyone looking for some nature time, but you will need to drive to get to trails, stores and attractions. For us, it felt like the best of both worlds. Thanks for a great retreat with family! Also, the soaking tub is such a luxurious touch! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We loved our stay here! Very quiet, beautiful piece of property with views wherever you looked. The entire home was spotlessly clean when we arrived and WOW the downstairs bathroom was gorgeous. It felt like a spa. Absolutely loved staying here.

House looks just like in pictures, fairly clean although light fixtures did have cobwebs and shower floor needs deep cleaning. Kitchen is great. Bathroom is huge, almost too big, while bedroom doesn't have a closet and feels tight...We went to a Mexican restaurant ( it felt more like diner ) in Altamont, couldn't find any other places to eat in the area...We loved hiking in Savage Gulf State Park and the Caverns in Pelham are awesome ! We arrived on Friday pm, had 2 full days to hike and visit caverns and that was perfect amount time to spend in the area :)Thank you for having us !

Quiet property with a great deck to relax, needs a washer dryer or more towels but the property itself is amazing and a great place to stay with your family. Close to local trails and sights.

Hi Joe,The accommodations were exactly as shown in the pictures (even better!). We had an outstanding time here and at Greeter Falls. Joe was quick to reach out and share access details. A little remote but perfect for what my wife and I were looking for to celebrate 28 year anniversary getaway. Clean, towels provided, kitchen fully stocked. We are planning to return. Thanks again!

It was peaceful and quiet which was everything I wished for my vacation. The cabin was marvelous and large. There are large televisions in the living room and both bedrooms. The appliances in the kitchen were fairly new and beautiful. I’ve been sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch watching a doe and her fawn in the front yard. Totally relaxed. I will certainly return to enjoy this wonderful property!!!

Peaceful Getaway

We took my sister here for her 50th birthday, and we had a wonderful time. We would recommend the cabin to anyone lookong for a peaceful getaway. We hiked at Stone Door, Greeter Falls, and enjoyed dinner at High Point. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean!

Clean, comfortable and beautiful

This house has beautiful finishes and lots of big windows to enjoy the view. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had great water pressure and temperature. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Three huge TVs (bedrooms and living room). We loved the wraparound porch, rocking chairs and outdoor lights. The house has a beautiful design with clean lines and minimalist furishings. Very clean. Great communication with the owner regarding check in, etc. No requirement to strip beds or do laundry. Would definitely stay there again.

Not exactly the plans we had in mind

The house was beautiful and peaceful. We ended up having car trouble and had to cancel some of our plans but thank God we weren’t far from the house and was able to turn back and ended up spending the day relaxing and reading. Quiet Getaway

This property was immaculate, the living room furniture was very comfortable, There was a level 3 Tornado watch and the county had lost power. The hosts were easy to get a hold of, and responsive towards our concerns of the inclement weather. As someone who lives up north, we are not as knowledgeable with that type of weather. They were very helpful with providing information regarding what to do and where to go if we needed to evacuate. They’re multiple areas on the property to relax and enjoy the scenery. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the bath tub amenity, I loved the kitchen cookware, I wish I knew where they had purchased it from. It was refreshing to have a place that allowed pets. My little guy enjoyed the large yard, joining us on the wrap around porch. I have no complaints, only a few suggestion/thoughts. I wish there had been a washer/dryer, hangers and a place to hang cloths..The bed had a memory foam mattress (I believe) which I’m not a huge fan of, although this is a personal preference and no reflection on the hosts. One thing that did catch us off guard was a dog that was unleashed who explored around the house, would come onto the property/porch to visit us.. He was very friendly, affectionate and didn’t bark, which was nice. Although it did scare my little guy, so we would just go inside side until the dog left the grounds and went along his merry way onto his next adventure. Def 5 stars and would come back again

Beautiful clean house

We enjoyed our stay at Beersheba springs We saw some beautiful waterfalls during the day and had a nice comfortable place to return to for the evening. The kids enjoyed the chess game and Pictionary game. It was just a perfect spring break trip.

We spent the weekend here for a wedding nearby. It was beautiful, new, clean. The beds were so comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again. Very quiet location. Very conveniently located to hiking trails.
