The apartment is nicely decorated with a good sized bedroom and walk in closet. The couch does offer an option for additional sleeping. The linens and towels were also good quality. You can walk to the water but not to swim if you are visiting during the summer. I am sure the beach area is not too far. Stonington is a we lovely town with many little shops to explore. It is also super close to Mystic, Westerly and a less than an hour to Newport. I would highly recommend staying at Scott's place. His rental home in front of this apartment is beautiful as well. Parking could pose a problem during the summer months. I had to park down the block one night. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the days leading up to New Years here. The snow added to the holiday experience for us.

We were pleasantly surprised when visiting this area. It is beautiful. The apartment is just what we needed, quaint and clean, comfortable beds. Great location. Prefer it over Mystic.

Great place & location/Scott was great

We had never been to Stonington before. This place is adorable, clean, and the location is great. It's near the water (can see the water from inside) and is walking distance to great restaurants. We went in Feb so it was cold but we still walked to our dinner spot. In nicer weather you have access to even more places by foot. Scott was great and very helpful and quick to respond. He gave us a list of places to try and even let us stay a little later on our departure day after breakfast took a little longer than we planned (Noah's is an awesome breakfast spot and was worth the wait!). We will definitely plan to say here again in the future.

Quick trip but wonderful stay

My friend and I planned a night away to get away from the husbands and kids and Scott’s property was the perfect choice! Very clean and beautiful location. Walking distance to several restaurants and cafes. Will definitely be coming back for another break!

The property is great. Located in a great location, walkable to restaurants and close to water. Check in was so easy. Scott was easily reached: though no needs. We would definately stay again!

Adorable apartment located in the perfect place

This apartment in Stonington borough was the perfect getaway location for a quiet beach vacation with good food and picturesque scenery. Nestled in a charming and historic area, the apartment offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, but with an array of excellent local eateries nearby, we opted to explore the culinary delights of the town. The seafood was particularly fresh and flavorful, with some restaurants offering beautiful waterfront views. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bedroom was spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep, and the living area was perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach or exploring the borough. The location couldn't have been better. Just a short walk to the beach. The town of Stonington was quaint and welcoming, with friendly locals and a variety of charming shops and cafes to explore. Overall, this apartment was an ideal choice for a peaceful beach getaway. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Cute spot, very private

Apt over garage. Cute, neat, tidy and well equipped. Great location for walking, not for parking. Street only. Entrance is up a narrow set of stairs at the rear of the property.

Adorable Apartment!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Scott's apartment! The apartment was clean, tidy, nicely furnished and well equipped for a weekend stay. It is located over a garage behind a lovely historic home. . .there is a court yard between the main house and garage which is equipped with furniture, fire pits and an outdoor shower. The apartment is located in Stonington Borough which is a little gem of a New England town with lovely coastal and beach views, beautiful colonial architecture and historic homes. We enjoyed our visit to the Lighthouse Museum which is a five minute walk from the home as well as several excellent restaurants and interesting shops which were all a short walk away. There are also some beautiful walks along the water. It is a short ten minute drive from Mystic which has many shops and restaurants to offer. All in all, we would highly recommend Scott's apartment and we will return!
