This property was the best place for my family and pet. It was secluded and peaceful. Only people we seen were the ones who cut the grass. My family loved the relaxation and stress free environment.

Perfect spot for a relaxing birthday weekend with friends! We loved the pool and gorgeous view from the porch. The house was clean and beautifully decorated.

Lovely cabin, cosy and nicely decorated. Comfy beds. Not new, bit worn and downstairs can be cold without a fire. Kirchen ware needs updating.

First Family Getaway

Perfect place for our first vacation as a family. Fun and relaxing. Plenty of things to entertain 5 teenagers with R&R for the adults. The swings on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning were delightful! Would love to visit again!

My friends and I absolutely loved the space. The pool was perfect and the highlight of the trip. The WiFi worked out really well so we could stream movies on a rainy day! This place now holds a special place in my memories with my favorite people!

Ultimate Family Time

My husband, daughter, son in law,15 yr old granddaughter, & our pets Bentley & Brandy had the opportunity to spend the weekend here November 2024. It was everything we anticipated & more. Quiet, beautiful, off of the path of everyday life. The cabin was very clean, beds were comfortabl, & had everything you need. We are very choosy& we are hopingto rent summer 2025 when the pool is open. Highly recommended!

Weather was terrible.

Cabin was cute, but the bathroom situation for a large family was not ideal. We had to walk through a bedroom to get to the upstairs bathroom. The weather stunk, and with no TV, or Internet there wasn't much to do.. if you just want to get away from it all, this is the place.

Underwhelming to say the least…

Extremely poor communication from property owner/host. Once trip was booked i didn’t hear back from them AT ALL!!! I had questions and requests that went completely unanswered!!! Also the thing we were most excited for, the pool, was full of dead and alive bugs. And before you ask, no there was no net whatsoever to clean them out of the pool so we could enjoy it. We ended up just packing all of our stuff back up and leaving only 3 hours into our stay, seeing as even if we reached out to the property owner we would not have received a response!

So sorry you didn't have an enjoyable experience. If you would have contacted us about any of the issues that you're facing, we would have gladly responded. We use a professional pool cleaner. Once a week to keep the pool clean. If you would have reached out to us, we would have gladly given you a discount or worked with you to try to fix the situation.

Weekend stay at Cabin

Overall we enjoyed our stay! The master bedroom doesn't get the best A/C airflow so it took a while to get to sleep at night but it was comfortable and roomy. The cabin is remote and quiet which was one of our main goals! We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed ourselves. Only downside is we did not see in the listing anywhere that said the pool wasn't open yet which was one of the reasons we chose this property. The owner's explanation made sense and they were very responsive and professional.

Relaxing Country Stay

I stayed here with a group of friends for the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, WV and we loved it! The house is off the beaten path enough to offer some great peace and quiet but still reasonably convenient to the highway. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. There's ample seating inside and out, including some hanging chairs and a hammock on the porch. The only hiccup was that their pool cleaners had closed the pool for the season early despite having been told not to. The homeowners were very communicative and apologetic the entire time and offered a refund when they were unable to resolve it. Communication in general was exceptional before and during the stay. We'd definitely consider staying here again if we're in the area. Cozy place with lots of character!

Escape from Fireworks

Overall, my partner and I had a nice stay and we successfully escaped most of the fireworks for July 4th. The owner informed me a few hours prior to our departure that the oven was broken. This complicated a lot of the food we bought for the trip, but we made do without it. The cabin was really cute and clean, but to say it is dog friendly is a bit of a stretch. There is no picture of the stairs in the listing, but they are impossibly steep and narrow for some. We compensated for this by taking turns staying downstairs at all times with our dog, which was not ideal. There is also an abundance of protruding nails/screws and wasp nests around the property. We were able to spend a lot of time outdoors, and there are lots of nice places to sit with beautiful views. We brought a bunch of firewood not knowing it had a gas fire pit, and the propane tank was empty. The sauna didn't appear to be functional either. The pool was definitely the highlight of the trip, I just would have appreciated a heads up that someone would be showing up to maintain it during peak hours. I don't feel like we got what we paid for on this one, but we made the best of it and still enjoyed our time away from home.

Awesome Cabin

Rented this cabin for the Thanksgiving holidays. This cabin is well tucked away from civilization. It's big enough for large families. It has a pool, plenty of yard games and a big wrap around porch to sit and drink your favorite beverage. Excellent communication with property manager. Will definitely be back during the summer and try out that pool.
