From the start, John Paul was a phenomenal host. He was highly responsive and attentive to anything and everything we needed. The property was peaceful, well kept and exactly as advertised. The cabin itself was well organized, clean and everything was easy to find. we didn’t find ourselves wanting for anything. I would definitely highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, enjoyable weekend getaway! We are looking forward to a future stay here.

Stayed at the stabin cabin2 and we couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful views, very clean. Exactly what we needed. John was super friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. We’re already planning our trip for next year at another one of his rentals. 10/10 would recommend again.

The only thing better than the cabin, location and amenities was JP's kindness and hospitality. We visited at the very end of the season - just in time for snow and freezing temps. JP made sure that we were familiarized with the island, and comfortable every step of the way. Our dogs LOVED having the freedom to explore the island without being on a leash. The electric boat was an added bonus to get to the mainland to do some hiking. JP even sent us a blog he wrote about the best nearby hiking trails. Despite the cold, we had a great time and can't wait to come back when it's warmer! Thank you, JP!!

AMAZING

We spent Labor Day weekend on Grant Island and the experience exceeded our expectations. Our cabin was beautiful had everything that we needed and then some. We were able to get back and forth from island easily and freely thanks to the boat that John Paul provided for us. Every single person on the island during our stay was super cool and helped make the experience. John Paul is a very kind host who wants you to have fun while you’re there and doesn’t hesitate to make himself available to help and answer questions. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful and Unique

Property was clean and as described. Had everything that was needed and nothing that wasn't. Was looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful place and the property didn't disappoint. Owner was very responsive to any questions/needs I had. Got lucky with perfect fall weather. Would stay again!

Great cabin

This was one of our best vacation/ anniversary get aways. You take a boat to the island and the owner was very helpful. Anything we needed he was right there. We had our own boat to travel around the lake. We want to go back. Thank you for everything. Oh and P.S the dogs were great to see.
