House Includes:
Fully remodeled one bedroom, one bath, lakefront property with breathtaking views. Over-sized screened in porch with plenty of seating for relaxing with your morning coffee or for an afternoon nap. Upgraded kitchen with all new appliances and fully stocked for any meal prep needs. Upgraded bedroom includes a king size bed with top of the line bedding and mattress. Living room includes an additional twin size daybed. No Pets Allowed.


Property Includes:
You will have your own private dock on a secluded 35 acre stocked lake. Outdoor amenities include 2 kayaks, fire pit, charcoal grill (charcoal provided).

Come and enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere of country lake life.
Lincoln Lake community offers a picnic area, playground, local creek and plenty of fishing.

Was here for The Jack bbq contest and this was the perfect spot to stay outside Lynchburg. Clean with all the amenities we needed and then some. Enjoyed a night on the screened in porch and a night by the fire pit. Relaxing and quiet and the lake was beautiful!

A perfect getaway, beautiful lake view. The host is AMAZING!! Definitely goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Loved waking up with a cup of coffee on the screened in patio just watching the birds! Very relaxing and such a peaceful area. We will definitely be back!

Das Haus lag sehr schön direkt am See, die Veranda konnte man genießen, weil sie vollstĂ€ndig von einem MĂŒckendraht geschĂŒtzt war. Alles war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, großzĂŒgig ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin klappte schnell und problemlos.

The blue heron is the perfect name for this beautiful blue house on Lincoln lake! The owners were quick to respond to any questions and had anything you’d like and need for a cozy lakeside vacation! We enjoyed being out in the quiet but close to Walmart and Pritchards distillery (a must on your stay!)

We loved this little cabin. The only bummer was the lake wasn’t great for swimming. It was however great for kayaking. The snacks and amenities were incredible and much more than most rentals. The lake was so quiet and private. Saw very few other people. The screened in back porch was where we spent the most time. Nice comfy furniture throughout the rental, comfy bed, lots of blankets, AC works great!! Hope we can come back.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at the Blue Heron Chalet in Kelso! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful design of the cabin. It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The location is secluded enough to feel private, yet close to great local spots like distilleries, wineries, and charming small-town attractions. The outdoor area was perfect for morning coffee and evening grilling. Watching the sunset over the water was a highlight!We felt right at home and appreciated all the little touches that made the experience so special. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a serene and stylish escape in Tennessee. We’ll definitely be back!

So relaxing!

Ms. Gloria was the perfect hostess. Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend was available. The kayaking was so much fun. The bed was super comfortable and having recliners in the living room was a nice bonus. I felt like I was at home (and I didn’t want to go back to my real home so soon!). We will definitely be back.

Relaxation we needed

The property matched online pictures. The small lake was perfect for kayaking and it was so nice that there were no motorized boats but electric small motors. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Just what we hoped for when we booked it. The layout and decor was charming and we lived the large porch! We would plan to book this property again if staying in the area. We booked only one tour in the few days we were there and that was Jack Daniels distillery 30 minutes away in Lynchburg. Great tour and cute town to visit.

The lake side chalet is so charming! The house was very clean, well decorated, and great amenities! There was even a snack basket upon our arrival! We absolutely loved the serene and peaceful setting of the patio deck overlooking the lake. Great Blue Herons, egrets, and geese were so fun to watch. We enjoyed paddling around the lake in the kayaks provided too. I would definitely recommend The Blue Heron!

We were beyond impressed by this property. Very clean, well decorated, nice personal touches with snacks, coffee, games, binoculars for bird watching, kayaks, etc. We never left (except in the kayaks)! Gloria was easy to communicate with and left plenty of helpful information about the area. We look forward to coming back again!
