Rib Mountain Retreat

Located less than a mile to the Granite Peak ski lift, this beautiful home at the base of Rib Mountain is a dream for anyone coming to our beautiful area to enjoy the outdoors. No matter the time of the year, this house is the perfect launchpad for skiing, hiking, biking, fishing or just exploring the many activities and beautiful scenery we enjoy here in the Wausau area. With a large fenced in backyard, the kiddos can safely have the run of the backyard. Located less than a mile to the Granite Peak ski lift, this beautiful home at the base of Rib Mountain is a skier’s dream.

This amazing house comfortably sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. There are three full bathrooms and three large living areas that offer space for everyone to spread out. Preparing meals is easy with an open floor plan in the kitchen and dining area. The deck and gas grill are right off the kitchen, as well, and there is a large fenced in backyard for the kiddos to safely play.

The recently updated open concept kitchen on the main floor features a gas stove, granite countertops, and island. It opens up to a large dining table and living space with television. On this same floor are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The lower living space offers a large living space where everyone can gather and watch a game or movie on the 85” television screen. There are two more bedrooms on this level, one with a queen bed and another with three extra-long bunk beds for six people. Another bathroom and the laundry room are also on this lower level.

There is lots of room in the garage for storing your skis and gear. Two vehicles can park in the garage, and two in the driveway.

You’ll feel like you are in the country in this quiet neighborhood, but it is only a few minutes to restaurants and grocery stores, as well as boat landings and hiking trails.
