This is truly a beautiful place to stay for a trip to Iceland . Modern, spacious and relaxing environment with easy access to local amenities , Rekyavik and further afield. The accommodation provides everything you would ever need ! The owner is really helpful and communicative. We had a lovely holiday based here .

Amazing stay, amazing hosts, fantastic location

The hosts are amazing - proactive, informative, and responsive. The property is just as shown/described, it is in a lovely quiet and family-friendly neighbourhood, and it has all of the amenities we could need. The location is handy to Reykjavik and to highways to all of the sights, as well as a short distance from stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend booking this property to anyone.

This house was perfect for the 7 adults. Maria provide a detailed book with instructions for everything. She was also very accommodating she let us drop off luggage even though the house was not ready. Maria was very helpful with directions and suggestions for things to do. We would stay again.

Gorgeous property, amazing location!

I can’t say enough good things. Maria was a fantastic and responsive host, and this home is so comfortable, immaculately furnished, and welcoming for a group of 7 adults. The location was wonderful to take a few day trips, spend time in Reykjavik and nearby lagoons, and have lovely local walks for lupin sightings. Honestly one of the best properties and host experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you!

This is the perfect location for a family who wants to explore the Reykjavík area while getting to experience a local neighborhood.This was our home base for Golden Circle and downtown Reykjavik days. Our kids loved the hot tub, trampoline and greenhouse. There is a conveniently located grocery store nearby and a small playground within walking distance. Maria (the host) was very responsive and easy to communicate with. You won’t regret booking this house for your Iceland adventure.

Fantastic House Near the City

Our group of 9 stayed very comfortably in Maria's house. Each child had their own room and everything was available from kitchenware to shampoo and laundry detergent. The kids especially loved the hot tub and trampoline. The adults basked in the green room on the patio when the sun was out. Maria was excellent in communication when there was a small issue with the oven. Overall, we loved our stay !
