Just 45 min northwest of Austin, TX on Lake LBJ! Nestled in a quiet cove with quick access to open waters, this no wake zone provides a secure place for families to enjoy the kayaks in the hill country. Perfect for fall break. Right on the property you will see a variety of birds and deer grazing. Also close to the beautiful scenic wineries in Burnet, hunting, golf, and Inks Lake State Park (check out specifics of tours and excursions in my guidebook). Fish along our 85ft dock, or enjoy a cold beverage under the twinkle lights along one of the two upper balconies (while enjoying mountain views from the packsaddle schist).

The space
Guests are welcome to use the entire property and 2 kayaks (single and double). Enjoy watching the community of whitetail deer graze out in the yard. If you wish to bring a boat, please disclose ahead of time.
We have 3 security cameras on site for your safety. We only monitor in the event of an emergency:
1. Ring doorbell camera
2. Camera facing driveway
3. Ac Unit Camera on front right of the driveway

Boat/ Jet Ski Storage
As for the boat, the lift system is more of a ramp system with rollers. It is designed for boats under 3,000 lbs and with inboard/outboard motors (direct drive like surf boats won’t work since there’s a keel roller). Canal will allow boats with 32” draft and turn around with a 19’ boat. Please reach out with any questions.

We will provide the door access code day of checkin with agreement to house rules. Self check in and check out made easy.

Must read and agree to house rules before door access is granted.
Note that cove can have debris float in due to wind and weather patterns. It can fluctuate one day to the next

We really enjoyed our stay. Host was communicative from check in through our entire stay. Kitchen is great, location in sunrise was great for more peace and quiet, which is what we were after. Also liked being equal distance from Horseshoe Bay and Llano. Saw plenty of deer (the kids loved) and access to lake. The firepit at bottom was big and old school and great for smores with fam.

The house is beautiful. It is so clean and has everything you will need for a perfect stay. The beds are very comfortable and the living room was just right for our family to relax. Sunrise Beach is a peaceful and beautiful community. I highly recommend a stay here!!

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable, clean lakehouse. We had a smooth check-in/check-out process and enjoyed the views of the beautiful backyard on the cove. The owners responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had during our stay in a positive manner. Overall, we had great weather at Sunrise Beach and an awesome trip for Memorial Day Weekend! We would highly recommend this house to any of our family or friends in the future if it continues to be an active vacation rental. Thanks again for all of your help and a pleasant stay!

4th of July on the lake

Relaxing weekend on the lake

We had a great weekend celebrating my brothers birthday and exploring Lake LBJ! We rented a boat and had the luxury of docking it at the house whenever we needed to go back. We loved having the paddle board and kayaks available too. We would definitely book again in the future!

Our family had a wonderful time!

It was exactly as described in the listing and we enjoyed our stay so much! Fished from the dock, kayaked and played some of the board games in the house. Plenty of kitchen items allowed us to cook and enjoy meals at the house. We also took advantage of the hostess guidebook and dinned out at the suggested local restaurants - they were all great! Played golf at two courses nearby and spent time at the lake! Highly recommend this property!

Coleman visit for Memorial Day

This property is cozy, comfy fun my family of four adults and two children ages 2 to 7 had an absolutely wonderful time. The property allows you to spend time with family indoors and a wonderful time outdoors with a beautifully built deck and access to a lake entrance, the property also has able in boat live. They have kayaks and wonderful neighbors that were so helpful if you’re looking for a very quaint wonderful place to stay just reach out to Michelle and her property.

Perfect stay

Me and my wife had a great time with this house. It was very clean and the host left us a basket to make a ranch water. We caught 2 really big catfish that broke our lines. Neighbors were really nice and friendly. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. Next time we go down there we’d for sure like to go back

Fun lake house

Beautiful house by the lake. We had a great time with friends and family. Great deck to sit down and relax watching the stars. The water toys (kayaks and paddle board) are in great condition. It was very fun to play with them. We highly recommend this house. Our host Michelle was courteous and friendly.

Peaceful

Quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the 2 person kayak to go out a bit to swim. Maybe adding a toaster would be a great addition seeing as how my kids and husband wanted toast everyday. Otherwise everything was nice. Would’ve loved to stay longer.

I'm a well traveled guest who knows what a host should do to create a comfortable guest experience. Our favorite places to visit aside from the lake are Venice, the Croatia, Havana, Santorini, Barcelona, Napa, Tulum, and Jackson, WY.

The gorgeous mountain view, quiet cove, and wildlife spoke to us when looking for the perfect property for family. My kids love to kayak, fish, watch whitetail deer, and paddleboard here at Ranch Water Cove. I didn't want to be on the open waters where reckless boat drivers and alot of weekend traffic would sacrifice safety.
Aside from lake fun, we are close enough to some beautiful golf courses, wedding venues, distilleries, gorgeous wineries, and State Parks. The neighborhood of Sunrise Beach is safe and friendly.
