Welcome to the Sunshine Shack in Corpus Christi!

A 3 bedroom home with a private heated pool!

The home sleeps 10 and offers 3 bedrooms with 50' TV's and 2 full baths in the main house and another full bath in the pool house. The main house has an updated kitchen with a coffee bar that will give you all the conveniences of home.

The pool house offers a 65" Smart TV and full bath. It can also be used as a private workspace or family hangout!

Just a quick 10 minute drive to the beach or just minutes to Oso Golf Course, Downtown or TX A&M Corpus.

House Rules:

There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

Minimum Age to Rent is 24.

No smoking and no vaping in the property. This is a non-smoking property.
$500 fee will be added if smoke odor is present in the home.

No Parties/Events.

Quiet Hours 10pm to 7am - Enforced.

Not responsible for accidents.
There is no child proofing; you must remain with your children at all times.

No more than 10 guests.

No late check outs after 10:15am or another night's stay will be charged.

No pets allowed. $500 pet cleaning fee will be charged.

If police are called to the property for any disturbance, a $500 fee will be assessed, and guests will be required to vacate the property with no refund.

We enjoyed the Sunshine Shack! We were in Corpus for a family wedding, and the pool on Sunday for all to come relax was amazing! The home is well kept and clean, and was a pleasures to stay. We’ll be back for our next trip to Corpus!

Relaxation

The Sunshine Shack was such a nice place to stay between swim prelims and finals. Close proximity to the venue CCISD Natatorium and to the beach. The Host was very responsive and helpful. We hope to be back to Corpus Christi soon and the Sunshine Shack will be our first choice to stay again!

Fantastic Home!

We rented the house to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from TAMUCC and the location was perfect! The pool and pool house were a bonus for family & friends! We are already looking forward to returning for our holiday celebration :)

Great place for families

We booked this last minute for a funeral and the pool and place was fantastic for my family. The kids swam in the pool almost every day and hung out in the pool room. The house was stocked with everything you could think of that you needed. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future!

I booked the property for a quick aquatic getaway to help my grandson get comfortable with water even though I live in the same city. I haven’t installed my pool yet, but this lovely property with its AMAZING pool house
and I mean, top notch accommodations
won me over! You won’t be disappointed, and the pool house with its adjustable temperature control is a perfect teen or solo guest apartment for the entire stay. The bathroom and TV, games, and space make it my favorite entertainment space in the home. It has everything you’d need and then some.

This place has it all.

The house was very clean and cute. The beds were nice and comfy and I love how the host leaves the seasonings and others items for the next guest to use. Also the way she sets up a s’more kit it’s so cute and the young ones loved it. They literally thought of everything a guest could need, down to trash cans outside.

Aniversary Getaway

Everything about this place and the host was the best in all regards. The house was amazing and very welcoming. The host has gone above and beyond to cover every little detail and still make you feel right at home. The neighborhood was very nice, the bay was a block away, and although we had plenty of plans in Corpus Christi, coming back to the house was still the highlight of the evening. I would highly recommend and hope to come back soon.

Cute house with a great pool/yard

My family and I enjoyed our stay! We had extended family come as well and we truly enjoyed our time in Corpus. The house had every thing we needed towels, laundry/dish detergent, bedding was clean, coffee bar, and kitchen items, comfy beds and a TV in each room. We felt at home. The pool house in the back was another great addition to the property. They had plenty of pool floats and covered area for seating. We would come back to this house again!

Tales of togetherness: A family review

Our vacation home with a pool was an oasis of relaxation and enjoyment. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the refreshing sight of crystal-clear waters inviting us for a dip. Days were spent lounging poolside, basking in the warm sun, and taking refreshing swims to beat the heat. Evenings were magical and relaxing. We would return it again

Perfect for us

The property was in a perfect location. The lawn was green and cut and the shrubs all trimmed. The house itself was cute and clean. They had pretty much everything we needed. We mistakenly book on the free fishing weekend so ha ing the pool saved the whole trip. Traveling with 3 toddlers isn't easy but the accomodations saved our trip. The host was only a message away and answered within minutes. Very satisfied with this listing and will be staying here again when we visit.

Beautiful house and location

The pictures on this site do not do this property justice. The house is beautiful, fully stocked and very roomy. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located near everything. HEB is like 5 minutes away and so is SPID for shopping. The pool is a great size and I enjoyed every minute in it. The owner was very quick to respond to my questions and she was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay at this property again. I’ve been renting on VRBO for years and this is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. Thank you Elizabeth!
