This unique place has a style all its own. 1 bedroom with queen size bed. Kitchen and bathroom fully remodeled. Spacious living room with a full size pull out sofa sleeper. Trundle day bed adds 2 twin sized sleeping areas. Dining room table off the living area. Fire pit space outside with one of a kind pizza oven.

Goose Island Campground 5 minutes down the road. Grab your fishing pole or kayak to enjoy close by.

Only 7 minutes away is Mount La Crosse to enjoy skiing/snowboarding.

Enjoy a cottage/cabin vibe just South of La Crosse!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close to family and just the right size. The fireplace was a great feature and kept us warm on chilly days the week of Thanksgiving. Very clean and accommodating. Would stay here again.

We always hv a lovely time at this space. We love birding at Goose Island; we love being cozy and able to cook our own meals at the house. We love that we can bring our dog along. We will return!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was our sister NYE and a newer tradition. My sister and myself, along with her pups stayed for 2 nights. Really cute vibe/atmosphere. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/silverware as well as pots and pans. Make sure to bring any foil/press and seal/etc. you might need. It is right on a highway, which really was NOT noisy or distracting. However, we did need to go to the local Goose Island Park to walk the dogs, which was only a mile away.All in all, great stay, adorable place and responsive hosts. Would stay again.

Couple Getaway

Loved this little secluded cottage. Was nice it was far enough away from everything but yet close to restaurants and anything else that you needed. Didn’t realize it was right on the highway but still seemed quiet despite the trains which never kept us awake thankfully. Had a nice view of the river and bluffs which made for some beautiful sunsets. Loved the little details and decor throughout and the shower was very nice. Bed was a little firm to our liking but didn’t keep us from getting a good nights rest. The vibe overall was very cozy and private which was perfect for us.

Excellent base camp for outdoor adventure!

Quaint, well appointed cabin that has been well maintained and decorated. It served as a great basecamp as we explored the local bluffs and rivers! The cabin had everything we needed for quick morning breakfasts and also great places to unwind with campfire and entertainment options. The pull-out sleeping options could easily sleep 3-4 kids in addition to the queen adult bed. Overall a great stay!

Amazing weekend getaway

This place is so charming! Loved the aesthetic and the accommodations it offered. We felt it was close enough to a lot of places but being on the outskirts of the “busy” was really nice. It was perfect for a long weekend away!

Beautiful!

This house is gorgeous. Everything is really clean and comfortable. It is close to a busy highway but the noise didn't bother me. Our Uber drivers were able to find us easily. We had a great stay.

Perfect for our family of four on a getaway weekend. Ideal spot away from town with emphasis on the outdoors. Everything was clean and while taking care of. Would recommend parking in the first driveway to back of house that does not have the fire number.

Anniversary Weekend

We booked this stay as a get away for our anniversary. We loved the location, we did miss it once, but quickly found it our GPS told us it was farther south than it was. Yes there is some traffic noise, but for us it wasn’t an issue we didn’t mind it. It was very clean and well kept. We love the area along the Mississippi and this was just right a weekend away.

Loved the view of the marsh! Appreciated the friendly welcome, the cleanliness, cuteness, and warmth of the home in winter. Didn’t like the curb appearance, scary driveway approach to the high speed road, the oddly detailed info on sanitizing dishes (made me worried), that the twin bed was not made up, that the fireplace was not real and its cord was a bit of an afterthought, that the furnace and dishwasher were very loud, that the pillows were very flat, and that the some of the cute lamps had toggle switches inconveniently located somewhere along their cords on the floor. I’m giving you very specific details, but overall, really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Nice little gem

This is a nicely decorated little cabin. Very clean and has everything that is needed for a relaxing weekend away. A quick 15 minutes away from everything in Southern La Crosse. The only hiccup one may find is how close it is to a busy road. It wasn't noticeable at night but when the bigger trucks went through during the day, it was louder. The hosts do provide a sound machine, but we never needed it. We will definitely be back.

Great location, beautiful view, no privacy.

My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The house is a great location with a beautiful view and tastefully decorated. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed including a paddle and big pizza cutter if you use the outdoor pizza oven. It was just enough space for the two of us and I’m not sure that more than 2 people would be comfortable here. We were a little surprised by how loud the traffic and trains were. If we didn’t have our fan with us, it would have made sleeping difficult (they do provide a small noise machine). We didn’t find the bed to be very comfortable. Our only real negative was not feeling comfortable using the outdoor amenities including the grill, fire pit, pizza oven and hammock. They have a ring doorbell set up facing this outdoor area which records you and your conversations. We were pretty disappointed about this and felt like we couldn’t have any privacy when we were outside using this area. We did use the pizza oven one night. It was fun to try it even though it was a little challenging because we had never done this before. It wasn’t very clean at first so we had to remove spiders and webs before cooking but it wasn’t a huge deal. They do provide a nice log splitter. You need to provide your own wood. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again based on the lack of privacy when using the outside space and being recorded.

Very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the convenient location to La Crosse and the many area hiking opportunities. It is on the highway and the railroad is right next to that, just so you know. It didn't bother us much, but we weren't there during the day much either.

Girls Weekend

It was beautifully decorated and super clean. Chance was so quick to reply to any questions. This property is right off the highway so the 3 car limit for parking is important to plan for. There is no street parking. We loved our stay.
