Great Friend Reunion Weekend

We had a great time staying at this property. So much fun hanging out in the basement game room and by the fire pit. The fishing was excellent as well! Very comfortable home, we loved it!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

The perfect place for a guys weekend. We enjoyed the lake, kayaks, fire pit, and all the games! The property was just as advertised, clean, and Daryl had great communication. Will definitely be back!

Fun Getaway

Pretty little spot. Fishing was great. Nice yard. Saw deer everyday. Game room sold it. The place to be when it stormed.

Everything you'd want in a dog friendly vacation home near the Dells.

This home is loaded with fun activities and nature. Full arcade in the basement with pool table and more. Firepit overlooking peaceful Lake Lawrence available for fishing or kayaking or just chillin. We were visited by deer, sand cranes, two giant snapping turtles, ducks and geese. Fantastic place for families and very dog friendly and close to the Dells. We highly recomend this vacation rental.

As good as advertised

Family had a wonderful time. Home was beautiful, check in was easy and communication with owner was quick. Kitchen was well stocked bedroom and living room furniture was all very comfy. Everyone in the party really enjoyed the supplied kayaks and paddleboards. Fishing was a nice bonus,plenty of bass and panfish. Basement was amazing like a step back in time. Wildlife in yard was a nice way to start the day.

Great Family Getaway!

The house was great but the basement is just amazing! Every game you could think of is down there and it was SO much fun! Very pet friendly house and the lake view was peaceful and relaxing. The firepit was easy to use and there was plenty of firewood on hand. Backyard was huge and well taken care of and we would love to come back in the summer so we could use the lake toys too! Owner was very easy to contact and had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Arcade/Cabin/On the Lake - Everything you could ask for!!!

My Family from kids to adults absolutely loved this beautiful property and all the amenities that came with it. I mean spot less, indoor & outdoors. Family WOW vacation!!

As beautiful as the pictures were on the website, in person, it was even better! The owner, Daryl, thought of everything in this place. An old fashion, popcorn popper, and the popcorn to go with it, all the firewood, we could use, lifejackets, and floats, surprises around every corner! The game room was incredible! Enjoyed by children and adults alike. Kayaking to the sandbar across the lake. Fantastic!!

Pool Team

The view of the lake is great, we saw deer and a sandhill crane family. The house was very clean and well stocked. Dry wood for your fires makes for easy lighting and less smoke. Lots of entertainment with the games and pool table. Room for a big family with comfy bed. The neighborhood was peaceful. One note, do not expect to swim off the dock. Yuck, but there is a paddle boat and kayaks available.

Super fun game room

The downstairs game room was a hit-a unique amenity that provided quality family time. Decorations gave the house that "up north" feel. The lake was very weedy, mucky and full of algae which made it unappealing to swim and more difficult to catch fish. Communication with Daryl prior to arriving on the scene was stellar!

Great getaway

Spent a fall weekend with great friends and unfortunately weather was a little rough, but it didnt matter-- the basement was decked out with so many fun games we could have stayed for weeks and not been bored! Host Daryl was great and gave us some ideas for things nearby to check out...the Thirsty Beaver was a big hit as was Sassy Cow ice cream...the real fun though was the basement!!! We played pool, darts, air hockey and arcade games and board games nonstop. Would DEFINITELY come back, this property is full of fun and we didnt even enjoy the firepit or the lake much due to the weather--but we still had a blast.

Perfect Place to Celebrate & Chill

First off, Daryl is an A+ host. He took an interest in our party from the get-go and clearly outlined his expectations for the property. He made check-in easy and was quick to respond to any questions we had. As for the place itself- WOW. A real gem, from the decor to the full game room, this was an amazing place to celebrate our friend's upcoming wedding. Its location on the lake is perfect for kicking back and enjoying the sunset, while you grill over an open fire. Darly has the entire place stocked with every thing you could ask for- all the details are accounted for. If you're looking for a one of a kind place with ample entertainment (seriously, every game under the sun), a great outdoor setting, and plenty of room (we had 6 but the place could easily hold more), then don't hesitate! We stayed here because we were spending a day in the Dells, and it was a scenic 40m drive to get into town. My only recommendation is bug spray! If you're staying in the summer, those mosquitoes are no joke. But we can hardly blame Daryl for that! Overall a 10/10 stay.

The lake is not swimmable- especially right off the pier and it's tiny! The only way you are going to be able to enjoy the lake is if you rent a boat and even then your options of swimming are slim because the lake is so weedy. We dropped anchor in the middle so we could get out in tubes to float. The house is old and clearly had a leak in the hallway upstairs as the ceiling was caved in with a dehumidifier below and towel to catch the water on the floor upon arrival. The lawn is huge but unusable due to amount of goose poop that is on it - understandably out of the owner's control. The only bed that was comfortable was the king bed and the second bathroom is downstairs by all the games. A little inconvenient when all the bedrooms are upstairs and you have a house full of guests. Reclined a chair and found alot of debris under it including old food. Only one kitchen towel and two trash bags so we did have to go to town to get more. Plenty of kitchen cookware to use which was nice and ALOT of wood for campfires which was really nice as well! Thankful for the kayaks to be able to get out but the paddleboards are very old and very dirty so we didn't use them. All in all - I wouldn't stay here again especially for the price. If the lake were nicer and you could actually get in the water from the pier I could understand the price - feel like you're paying for the game room more than anything.

The lake house was everything that it was advertised to be and we really enjoyed our family time at the lake! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I really appreciated all of the family games that are supplied and of course the game room was out of this world! Daryl was a very responsive host, he even allowed us to check in a little early when we arrived earlier than expected, it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and took Daryl's recommendation for a pontoon rental right on the lake from "Boats & Bobbers" they are a very friendly and accommodating family run business. The house was also just a short drive to the Dells for other entertainment options. We had a great experience!
