Mikaya started with the need for a change. After more than seven years in New York City real estate, we were ready for a different pace of life. A long-overdue surf trip led us to Santa Teresa, and we knew almost immediately that this was the place to put down roots and start something new.
From the beginning, we had one clear goal: create a residence so beautiful and harmonious that anyone who saw it would immediately want to stay. Every corner was designed with that in mind, tied together by a monochromatic palette that keeps the whole villa feeling calm and cohesive.
It took years of effort, and no small investment, but we're proud of what Mikaya has become — and we can't wait to share it with you. If we're doing our job right, this won't be the last time we welcome you here.

However, the attention is on the details and we spared no effort to reach a balance between harmony and practicality and we think we have achieved it here. The house is built for a client to fully immerse themselves into the area whilst stopping to smell the roses. Life is good, we intend to make it better for you.

We chose this property for its balance: close enough to town that Santa Teresa's dining, nightlife, shopping, and activities are just minutes away, but far enough up the mountain that none of the noise follows you home. The world is loud enough already — inside Mikaya, our goal is for you to be able to turn it off and just be at peace for however long you're with us.
And then there's the view. A private, elevated panorama of jungle and ocean you won't get from town — that's really what sealed it.
