We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is adorable and in such a peaceful setting. Bruce was excellent with his communication and paid attention to detail in the house. We will stay again!

Just as advertised, charming little place by a creek where you can fish or watch the eagle grab a fish for himself. It was the perfect place to watch my daughter and dogs run around and have fun.

Beautiful scenery and great location to Knoebles and Ricketts Glenn. The only thing i had a slight issue with was i was charged a 200 pet fee 3 days into my stay at a pet friendly rental.

Fall getaway

Had a great fall weekend getaway, just relaxing by the stream. Nice private cabin but still close to towns and Bloomsburg!

Mother-Daughter Weekend

Late Summer Getaway

My family wanted to visit Ricketts Glen State Park and this was a perfect place close to the park. My kids loved hanging out by the fishing creek and dining out on the back porch. The place was easy to access with great directions given by the owner. Highly recommend this unique stay.

Great remote getaway!

I love the location! No neighbors and right on the creek! The lot is spacious and the house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed. I would definitely want to stay here again in the future.

Lovely, comfortable home on natural stream

We loved this house, deck, and lush yard and surroundings visible through lots of windows. Easy access on scenic state route, close to Ricketts Glen and covered bridges, antiquing, farm stands, and more. Hope to return!

Just right...

Thankful to find this property close to family in PA! It worked well for our family. Beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed disney+ and youtube! Host was kind and quick to respond.

We were visiting our son while he was at Job Corp. the area is gorgeous if you live the outdoors like us. The creek was beautiful and the hammock out back was perfect. Updated appliances in kitchen. It had all the things we needed at a great price.

Great time fishing and in nature!

What a great escape. This house sits right on a fishing creek which provided my first eagle sighting - 2 in fact while relaxing in the hammock
Fantastic! Took in the falls at Ricketts Glen, antique shopping in Benton and of course some fishing. Will definitely be back for some golf at Mills Race public golf course right down the road.

Lovely place, great location

The house is quaint with decks on both sides, lawn all around (great for playing catch), the firepit area by the creek is peaceful. Just 20 minutes to Ricketts Glen and Lake Jean and 15 minutes to Bloomsburg. We had dinner at Turkey Hill Brewing. Finished the weekend at Knoebels. This was a great place to be away from the city for a couple days. Bruce was very responsive and welcoming.

Amazing location

We had a great time there. Mornings were so quiet and we could see lots of different birds. The place had everything we needed. It was cozy and the perfect size for us. We did go to ricketts glenn falls and they were beautiful. The towns surrounding have great places to eat and if you need to pick something up then they have stores surrounding. Bruce was very helpful with anything we needed and was a great host. Definitely a place we will be back to.

Idyllic Property

The property is perfect! Easy to find, idyllic gardens and a very cosy living space. Very private and secluded, but close to everything you could need. The hammock is wonderful and the stream alongside the garden is beautiful. We had a family break there and found the location to be ideal - just a couple of minutes into Benton for supplies (and restaurants etc) and very close to Ricketts Glen. Great host too - clear communication from booking through our stay and even afterwards to make sure everything was perfect. Couldn’t have picked a better property!

Fantastic woodland getaway - family friendly

I was home by myself with my kids for the weekend and wanted to do something fun with them. We had an absolute BLAST! Let me just say
 the view over the creek is GORGEOUS. It was like out of a magazine and when we arrived. I kid you not
 a bald eagle flew out of the trees and soared around me and my children when we walked up to the creek, skimming the water and soaring around us. It was AMAZING.So that's how our trip began.. And it was fun times to follow with fishing, creek jumping, tubing, and good ole fashion fun.Our hosts had everything we needed, and bonus snacks out for my kids when we arrived. Which were extra bonus points for my kids.The property is private and perfectly maintained. My kids get a little rowdy so I appreciated having some privacy also peace knowing they weren't disrupting neighbors.We also brought our French bulldog Karl who also had a great time, and loved the creek.If they'll have us back, I hope to return with my husband again this summer. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 10/10 recommend.

Great location, quiet and private on a creek

40min from Knoebels and 15-20min from Rickett's Glen, a perfect fall location. There is a beautiful creek down a bank in the backyard and the entrance is hidden and private, back from the main road. Trucks are a little loud, but not annoying given the privacy. The place was clean and 'worn in' which made it comfortable and good for our small dogs. The appliances were updated and the beds were comfortable. There is a country store about 5min on left, after turning left out of the drive. We did NOT experience a bug problem. The steps are a little steep up to the front door, but the home was overall small & perfect. We did not use the front balcony (an open and closed-in section), but it would have been nice if staying longer. Very picturesque!!
