Dès que vous franchissez la porte de ce condominium situé au rez-de-chaussée, vous avez commencé à vous détendre. La grande baie vitrée avec vue sur le fleuve et l'océan, et le rivage de Monterey au loin, sont toujours visibles depuis le salon (salon de style ouvert, cuisine et salle à manger).

Depuis les deux canapés du salon, vous pouvez lire tranquillement, allumer un feu (les nuits fraîches ou en hiver), ou regarder un film.
Si vous avez choisi de cuisiner, vous n'avez pas besoin d'être loin des vues extérieures et pouvez profiter d'une cuisine entièrement équipée pour préparer l'happy hour pour la plage ou pour mettre le saumon pour le dîner. Les portes vitrées du salon vous amènent sur le pont, où vous apprécierez probablement la plupart des repas. (Les pélicans fournissent généralement un divertissement fascinant.)

La chambre principale, avec lit king et télévision en Californie, a sa propre salle de bain complète. La 2ème chambre a 2 lits jumeaux, un canapé et un lit gigogne. Il y a un double matelas gonflable. Machine à laver et sèche-linge. Grill électrique Accès Internet.

This was a nice, quiet, remote place to stay. It was close to the beach. It was in between Santa Cruz and Monterey so we were able to travel to both towns easily.

We had a wonderful time at the condo! It met all our needs, was comfortable, quiet and calming, and easy access to Sunset Beach. While we only stayed for a couple of days, I could easily see us staying for quite a bit longer. Best place we've ever stayed at Pajaro Dunes.

This property was just like the pictures. So very peaceful. Where sand dollars could easily be found. We enjoyed the very private, beach which was not crowded. The host communicated with us regarding a power outage during our stay which was greatly appreciated. Very clean and equipped condo with everything needed to make your stay perfect; including two fans.

We are glad you enjoyed you stay. We are sorry if the access to our condo with a wheelchair was a challenge. None of the condos at Pelican point are "handicapped accessible". They were built prior to ADA regulations. Most of the 1st floor and all of the second and third floor condos in our building have many steps. However our condo is on the ground floor and there are no steps from the parking lot to our front door. That said the path to the front door is steep in places and could be challenging for a wheelchair.

Excellent location and views. We had a hard time at check in since 2 other names had checked in for the same day! We do not know if it was a technical glitch but we had to wait a long time to be let in since security had to check first.

John and Mary Pastrone bought Pelican-75 in the 1970s so their 3 sons could enjoy beach weekends and escape the heat of the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, a 3rd generation of grandchildren enjoy the same surroundings their fathers did 50 years ago when they were young.

The property is currently managed by Michael Pastrone, John and Mary's oldest son.

Nestled along the Monterey Bay is one of the most scenic stretches of California’s central coastline. Spanning 1 1/2 miles of pristine beach, Pajaro Dunes Resort is a secluded, gated community featuring a collection of beautiful beachfront houses, townhomes, and condominiums architected to blend harmoniously with the gently rolling, natural ocean side landscape.

Our ideal location within Pajaro Dunes, at the south end of the resort, is quiet and private... in between the ocean and the river... with massive open views of the ocean, river, and sand dunes. Our Building "D" is rarely occupied. And Pelican-75 is ground level so families can be indoors and out but still be together.

We have upgraded and updated over the past 5 years, including the kitchen and both full master bathrooms each with dual shower heads, new furniture and many extras.

The unobstructed view from the deck of the ocean, river, and sand dunes... home to dozens of bird species. If there was one thing you will remember about being here, is getting reacquainted with the beauty of watching Pelicans glide in from the ocean, their flight paths crossing the deck, with their six foot wingspan, landing at their quiet home on the river. Bring your binoculars. And then there are the darn cute tiny Snowy Plovers that run on the sand, hopping on one leg.

We are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need.... from kitchen gear to beach gear... all you have to bring is your food and clothing. And we have the best cleaning team in Pajaro Dunes.

Note: Due to fire risk, grilling is not permitted at Pajaro Dunes.
