Both front and backyards are beautifully landscaped. Adult and child friendly!

The Anchor House is a great place to stay in Rockport. I’m a metalsmith and jewelry artist who shows at the annual 4th of July Rockport Art Festival. This was our second year staying at Anchor House. It’s always comforting to stay in a familiar place.its also a family gathering time as my daughter and grandson come to help out at the show. Robert, our host, is a great communicator and not only is the house spotless, there is everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well outfitted and the utensils, dishes and pans are all first rate. Unlike some places where you end up having to go to Walmart or HEB for basics, Robert has already anticipated your needs. There are plenty of towels and extra bedding, if needed, and a laundry room with nice modern and clean appliances and every laundry product you might want. As well as lots of beach toys and games. Overall a first rate place to stay.

The anchor house

The anchor house us absolutely perfect. Perfect location to watch fireworks show, ger to and from the bay easily, the small business support is evident and we loved it. So close to both walmart and HEB. We enjoyed our stay!

House

The house was very nice and clean. It had a very nice back patio which was our favorite place to be. It also had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely would stay here again.

Perfect for small families

Our stay was wonderful. Everything was clean and perfect. My daughter has asthma so we are always cautious of booking but she had no issues staying here. Very close to beach. We left early due to Hurricane Beryl but next time we visit we will definitely book here.

Best one so far

The host was extremely accommodating. The house was beautiful. Anything you could possibly think of that you may forget to bring with you, it was already in the house. From extra toothbrushes to make up remove wipes. It was so thorough and lovely. We did run into an issue with wasps in the backyard, but the owner remedied that too. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Robert is the Owner/Manager he grew up on the Texas Coast in Corpus Christi. He joined the military and retired from the US Air Force. He now resides in the Texas Hill Country, in Bulverde Texas. He enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loves spending time at the coast fishing and boating. He decided to buy and renovate this nice home in Rockport where he enjoys spending his time relaxing, fishing and enjoying everything the local communities have to offer.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The property is centrally located to all of the attractions that Rockport, Fulton, Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi have available. Robert renovated the house with comfort in mind. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom is completely renovated with all new tube/shower, sink and commode, very clean! The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster and all the pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. that you will need. Free WIFI and washer and dryer available. Boogie boards, fishing poles, board games and beach toys are provided for the kids and adults.

This is a one-of-a-kind home! The interior door trims are uniquely done for a different architectural detail and the 2 living areas are separated by a barn doors for extra privacy. Many of the decorations are also unique giving the home a very different beach or coastal feeling. The dining area has a custom-built nook bench seating that seats 6. The main living room has a very cozy custom-built reading nook to enjoy. Must see to appreciate!
