Garden Cottage 60 - The Hive

Welcome to THE HIVE! Bring your swarm to a sweet retreat just a short buzz from the pool, beach access and the other million-dollar amenities The Cottages have to offer. You enter the Hive through the kitchen, which is fully equipped with all stainless-steel appliances, both a standard and a Keurig Coffee Machine, everything you will need for cooking and baking and an oversized bar top perfect for quick meals. Up to 10 can dine with four seats at the bar and six at the high-top dining room table. The worker bees have freshly decorated throughout and there is a fireplace with an enormous 70” TV in the living room. The King Master bedroom is on the first floor along with a screened-in porch that has a comfy sectional for gathering or napping. Upstairs, two Queen ensuites share an upper porch with conversation seating for five. You will also find a bonus room upstairs with a futon and large screen TV for gaming, movies, etc. For the worker bee, an office desk and chair are on the upstairs landing. Outside, there is a gas grill, lounge chairs and a table that seats six. Inside the garage, you'll find beach chairs and an umbrella ready for some fun in the sand! The HIVE will leave your family buzzing about the great time they had on Jekyll Island!

If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab.
