This home is perfect for family gatherings. It has an inviting entry that leads to an office and living area. The first floor also has a kitchen with all the essentials, full bathroom, laundry and breakfast area. Step down into the spacious family room with a table that seats 12 and a living area perfect for movie nights. There is also an impressive window seat with a gorgeous view of Mt. Scott. On the 2nd floor there are 3 charming bedrooms and a beautiful living area with a smart TV. The Master has a balcony facing the Wichita Mtns as well as an attached bathroom with a jet tub and walk-in shower. There are two additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom on this floor. The third story bunk room is perfect for kids and sleeps 8. There are 6 twins with two trundles. This house is close enough to the quaint downtown to be convenient, while only a two minute walk to the lake. Whether you enjoy quiet mornings on the porch, fun family gatherings or exploring the Wichita Mountains this house has all the comforts of home and was created with every detail in mind. Fishing, music festivals, hiking, biking & kayaking nearby.

The house was ideal for our group of friends, offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind. We particularly enjoyed the spacious family room, where we gathered in the evenings. Its location was perfect for morning strolls to the lake and conveniently close to all the local attractions. I highly recommend it for any group!

Great space! Everything you need in one place! Thoroughly enjoyed the big couch so that we could relax as a family! Also loved the big table so that we could share meals as a family! Great outdoor space too which was perfect to enjoy the weather and sun!

Kitchen is great and stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. place is comfy and great for a crowd. We love the long table that fits a large number of people. The couch in the main area is super comfy and large enough to fit a lot of people.

The Sanctuary House was the perfect place for our family to stay in Medicine Park this past week for our son’s wedding. Proximity to the event center & all the happenings in town was ideal. The house was big enough for all of our activities & had so many spaces & places to get some peace & quiet when needed. We cooked some great meals & comfortably entertained other family who had also come from out of town. Furnishings & beds were comfy, and the a/c & ceiling fans worked great & kept everyone comfortable. The house, towels, & sheets all smelled incredible! The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The back patio was the perfect spot to relax & talk in the mornings & evenings while the kids played corn hole & ran around the big yard. On the wedding day, the house was the perfect place for the bridal party to get ready, and the ability to separate guys downstairs & girls upstairs meant bride & groom could still be with their friends & family comfortably while still not seeing one another before the ceremony. It was just what I was hoping for when I booked the place & exceeded our expectations based on what we had seen online. Every detail was covered & the communication with Tara was excellent. Her recommendation of the local golf cart rental company was very appreciated & made getting around Medicine Park even easier & a lot more fun. She went above & beyond to make our stay as great as it could be. Don’t hesitate to book this place for your next family event or girls getaway!

The transitions on floors made some of us be very cautious, but overall it was a great experience.Considering we were 79-97 it was great. The large comfortable couches gave us extra sleeping so only 1 second cousin (age 65) slept in bunk room.They let us check in early since we were coming in from all directions which was a "plus" for us. I would HIGHLY recommend

This house is perfect for a stay in the Wichita Mountains!! It is conveniently located in walking distance to the main block of town but not in the thick of it, so it’s quiet and calm. The common areas of the house are nice-sized and there are three living areas and two dining areas. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable - they even had lamps and charging stations by every bed! Definitely would stay here again!!

Great Getaway

Some extended family and I stayed at Sanctuary House for a memorial weekend getaway in the mountains to celebrate my dad. The house was amazing, comfortable, and the scenery was awesome. Highly recommend Medicine Park, Wichita Mountains, and Sanctuary House.

Great weekender for large group!

What a great time we had! Girls weekend with 9 of us, 50+yrs old, we loved these accommodations! Nice spaces to spreadout but also large enough patio and tv/dining room for us all to get together!

We would definitely recommend staying here!

Our youngest son proposed to his girlfriend on top of mount Scott and 14 of us surprised them after they came down from the mountain! 10 of us stayed at the sanctuary! It was beautiful, felt so spacious and accommodated all of us so well! We didn’t want to leave! Plenty of things to do, close to downtown! We will be back!! Fantastic stay!
