Looking for a quiet space to slow things down a bit? You’ve found it! Enjoy the many local wineries, State Parks, or other outdoor adventures while you’re in town. Relax in our hot tub or by the fire under the stars. Enjoy being on the farm as our cows, goats and horses graze the pastures surrounding the cabin. Take it easy on the porch swing, take in some corn hole, play a round of checkers, or admire the sunset from our front porch rockers. There is much to enjoy in our area including the Mtn to Sea hike/bike trails, kayaking the Mitchell, Yadkin, or Fisher Rivers, many local wineries and much more. Come stay with us and enjoy an opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The space was beautifully maintained, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming. This little cabin in State Road, NC was amazing! The farm, property, and animals were beautiful!! Great get away for our anniversary, and we will definitely be returning! The house was very clean and the owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. We also took advantage of the butchered meat the owners offer to buy…the ribeyes were delicious!!There’s definitely a lot of little hidden treasures in State Road and the little towns surrounding it. We had a great time exploring, and the people in the area are so nice.Definitely a little diamond in the rough!

Amazing and beautiful

This place was amazing. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The view was incredible. The property owners was absolutely amazing to talk to and get information from about local sites to see and visit. I have told everyone i know about this amazing place i cant wait to come back .

Heavenly Homestead

Wow!! What a remarkable little slice of heaven! The cabin has every modern amenity you could want but the feel of an old log cabin. The view is spectacular and peaceful, plus your only neighbors are adorable goats and a horse! Definitely one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in!!! Thank you for an amazing property that helped us create great memories!
