La cabane de Big Elkin Creek Farm est une vĂ©ritable oasis, nichĂ©e dans les contreforts de la Caroline du Nord. VĂ©ritable maison en rondins construite dans les annĂ©es 1800, c'est une maison entiĂšrement meublĂ©e et entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e. SituĂ© au centre d'une belle ferme de 85 acres, la cabane est idĂ©ale pour une escapade en couple, ou parfaite pour les familles de six personnes qui souhaitent goĂ»ter aux premiers jours des pionniers. Vous pourrez profiter de sentiers de randonnĂ©e boisĂ©s, d'animaux de la ferme, de la pĂȘche dans l'Ă©tang, du confort jusqu'au poĂȘle Ă  bois ou d'un simple lever de soleil depuis les chaises Ă  bascule sur le porche. Vous pourrez choisir la solitude de la ferme, visiter la ville historique voisine et les vignobles de la vallĂ©e de Yadkin, ou admirer la beautĂ© de Blue Ridge Parkway et des parcs d'État de Caroline du Nord Ă  quelques minutes. The home is a beautifully restored log cabin and has many nice amenities and was very clean. Especially enjoyed the wood burner in the living room! The host - Barbara- met us at the door and explained everything. We enjoyed the local wineries and restaurants. Highly recommend this place!

The cabin is from the late 1800's and it was a great place to visit and unwind for the weekend. Great wineries around the area and the owners are super sweet!! They have horses, goats, ducks, and a really sweet dog on the premises.

Beautiful property! Very quaint! Extremely hospitable! It also was far enough out to be in the country yet only 5 miles from food and wineries! Would stay here again!

A perfect spot for family time and quiet time. The listing description is exactly what you get. No WiFi is a plus! I would suggest adding a couple of sizes of non-stick pans to the kitchen assortment.

This was an amazing getaway. Barbara and Chirs are great hosts. The cabin and setting are absolutely perfect. I look forward to coming back to this property. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Wonderful getaway

Barbara and Chris could NOT have been more hospitable! They told us great places to visit and restaurants to check out. We toured their farm and got to feed and pet the horses, plus the Russian geese she had were beautiful. I would DEFINITELY stay here again, in fact, we are planning a trip back here in the fall!

Fantastic experience!

Barbara is an excellent host! She is so authentic in her desire to make your stay at this beautiful place special! Right in the middle of wine country, this cozy cabin is the perfect escape. Make sure to ask her to meet the sweet animals and for restaurant recommendations!

Peaceful and Wonderful Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was so cute, cozy, and clean. The grounds were pretty. It was really relaxing sitting on the porch watching the wildlife and petting the kitty. It was close to several wineries and downtown Elkin. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Amazing cabin, host & stay!!

Great cozy cabin that offered the relaxation we wanted and needed!! Barbara was beyond kind in including my girl who wanted to see and help with all things farm animals!! Cabin had all the things we needed to enjoy our week. We all slept like babies in the comfy beds!! We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway!!

One of a kind

Absolutely amazing place to stay !! Very secluded and cozy cabin on acreage. For my family the best part was getting to meet the owners of the property and there livestock. I would definitely recommend if you want A cozy cabin experience. We will be back to visit in the future 100 %

Great getaway!

Homeowners were very welcoming! Fresh eggs, canned jam and sooo much wildlife! Wish we could have stayed on the property more. Perfect for families that want the "farm" experience with a variety of animals with which to interact. Can't wait to bring my grandkids back soon.

Charming cabin in a quaint little oasis

We only spent two nights, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was charming and comfortable and the location overlooking a pond surrounded by nature made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The hosts were wonderful and everyone enjoyed stopping and saying hi to the goats, pony, donkey and horses every time we came and went. We also really enjoyed exploring the Elkin area. Thanks for everything!

The cabin is amazing. The modern updates make it better without taking away from the experience. My daughters absolutely loved everything from the cabin to the animals. Little paradise

This cabin was wonderful. It was just like the photos and so many simple details. It had everything to cook with, a boat for use on the pond and so much space to explore. The hospitality of the hosts were top notch and the fresh eggs and jam were soo appreciated and sweet. We will definitely be back. This is for sure our new home away from home to rewind and connect with the outdoors. The simple memories we made for Father’s Day are ones that will be cherished!
