Fun with friends in Van Buren

This home was perfect for our group. Plenty of room for everyone and we didn't feel crowded at all. When we weren't floating down the river the covered porch and firepit area were where you could find us. The convenience of being so close to the Landing and town was great too! Especially for an evening trip to the Jolly Cone for ice cream. If we come back to this area we would love to stay here again.

Great location, amenities were good, good communication, very clean, really excellent. Nice porch! One thing could be better: the furniture is a little sparse in the bedrooms, so there's a need for a dresser drawer or something to hold up your suitcase. Small thing that would be very nice. Otherwise, I would give this excellent.

We enjoyed the weekend. We had 5 couples, each had a bedroom and sharing the bathrooms was not a problem. Plenty of room to spread out and the front porch was nice. Parking 5 trucks/suv’s was a little crowded but we made it work. The fire pit in the back part of the driveway eliminates part of. We had a great time and will definitely be looking to book next year.

Relaxing

We loved the place. Home was very clean, well equipped with everything we needed, and close to where we wanted to go for rafting trip. It has a wonderful inviting front porch with a relaxing view of the river. Would definitely stay there again. Joyce and Family

Wonderful stay

The property is absolutely beautiful with ample space. It was easy to find and the host provided easy directions to follow. Beds are comfortable. Beautiful view of the river. We were able to float down the river and get off at the cabin. We would absolutely stay here again.

River Group

This was the second time our group has stayed at this house. We really enjoy the space and location for all of us! There’s 9 of us and plenty of room for each. Definitely will be staying next year! Easy check in and out process, very clean, and prime location for the river.

Great Place!

We had a great time here, group of friends rented for a float trip. There was plenty of room for everyone. Big porch for us to hang out and look at the water. We were able to get out of the river right at the cabin, which was great. We will rent again! Thanks!

Plenty of room for the whole family

The house is beautiful, the location is great. We had plenty of room for all our family and friends. Right off of the river where you can float down the river. Very clean. Loved that they had fans in most of the rooms couple people in our family need the fan noise to sleep. We look forward to staying here again.

The home is absolutely beautiful, with a beautiful river view, you were able to play in the river right out front and float directly back to the river, I will say getting out of the river was a bit hard if you have older people with knee or back problems to get out because there are no steps, dock, or concrete slab which would make it a lot easier, but aside from that downfall everything else was immaculate and plenty amenities to hangout on the porch with the patio furniture or swing with the fans, or hang down below on the patio with the fire pit. It fit 8 of us comfortably would definitely recommend a future stay here.

Current river trip.

The location was perfect for a relaxing couple days on the current river. Private river access just across the street and a short drive to The landing to rent rafts/canoes or kayaks. The place was more than enough room for our group of friends. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The large firepit out back with wood provided was an added bonus. We will definitely make it an annual trip.

Riverfront dream

Best stay we've ever had. House is right off the river with a big balcony and beautiful view. Clean and cozy, and we loved hanging out at the pit. Firewood was provided. Beautiful area with lots to see. We will be back. 😍

Awesome Riverfront home

The Pictures in the listing don’t do this place any bit of justice. The house was exceptionally clean upon arrival. The 5 spacious bedrooms were awesome. The kitchen was well equipped and had nice appliances. Besides all the it is super close to town but has a nice out of town feel merely 100’ from the bank of the current river. We will definitely be back and had a great stay. 10/10

BURNS EAST ROWING TEAM

40 YEARS AGO MY FRIENDS AND I LEFT MY BUDDY'S MOM AND DAD'S TAVERN AT 3 IN THE MORNING FROM MADISON IL AND DROVE DOWN FOR A FLOAT TRIP. WE RELIVED THAT MOMENT THIS WEEKEND. GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND THE VIEW WAS AWESOME. WE WERE ON THE RIVER. SHOULD HAVE STAYED LONGER. WE ARE MAKING IT AN ANNUAL TRIP.

Clean, Quiet, Good location

This property is located on the riverbank of Current River, just upstream from the Landing. The house was clean and all appliances worked the entire stay. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and that suited us well as we have some walkers in our group. We were able to get out of the river at the property with some effort, not recommended for those with mobility issues. Things I wish we had known: there wasn’t any dressers in any of the bedrooms, at least one didn’t have a closet, and kitchen items were slightly sparse. However, given its location, price point, and its cleanliness, we would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back next year.
