We had a great time at the cabin! Its very cozy and tucked away - perfect for a relaxing get away. There were plenty of board games to play and a great outdoors area for dining and hanging out.

Beautiful property, close to many desirable hiking locations. Enjoyed the flexible space with several areas to hang out and play games. Some things were not clean upon arrival, but the host was mostly attentive to concerns.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The property was in great shape clean and as advertised. Very quiet and secluded. The driveway is very steep abut manageable. Would stay here again if I returned to Hocking Hills. There is plenty of hiking and things to see. Would be especially nice with fall colors and when the waterfalls are bigger. Great communication from the host.

This cabin is exactly what we needed. It was very cozy, spacious and relaxing. The beds were so cozy and definitely some of the coziest beds I’ve ever slept on during vacation! It had everything we needed for a weekend with the family - indoor and outdoor.

I had a relaxing weekend stay at Heart Haus with my wife and kids. The cabin was very clean and it had everything we needed. Amazing views from all angles of the cabin with plenty of room for us all to relax. Tara was a great host by keeping in touch and accommodating us throughout our stay. We'd love to come back in the future.

Only problem is the upstairs has poor ventilation, it gets 10 degrees warmer than the main level, and first level gets 6 degrees cooler. Beds are on the top level and first level, so either someone is freezing or overheating.

Thank you for your feedback. Your stay happened to coincide with an unusually intense heat wave, often referred to as a "heat dome," when heat index values in Ohio reached around 110°F. While the upstairs bedrooms are typically comfortable, those extreme outdoor temperatures can make it more challenging to keep second-floor spaces as cool as usual. To help during periods of excessive heat, we had ceiling fans installed in the bedrooms as well as additional portable fans for guests' comfort. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

My husband and I stayed at Heart Haus to explore Hocking Hills and relax. The house was exactly as stated. It is a nice sized house with plenty of room especially if you have 4 or 5 people staying there. It had everything we could need and I especially liked that the kitchen cupboards /drawers are labeled showing where things are located. Tara also has a book with a lot of information on things to do / where to eat and maps. We appreciated that very much. The house was clean and inviting. Tara checked in with me to make sure we were settling in. The driveway is steep but she had made that known in advance so we weren’t surprised just a little nervous about parking the car. But it was honestly no big deal. We did see a deer running down the hill. And some chipmunks. The woods are beautiful around there. And sitting on the upper deck was pretty cool. I’m not sure when we will be back to the area but we do want to come back. There’s a lot to explore. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay

The accommodations were excellent! The beds were comfortable, and everything was easy to find. The driveway was a bit sketchy but we made it! We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect!!

Beautiful property! Outside of the hustle bustle of tourist areas but conveniently close enough to beautiful sightseeing in Hocking Hills. My family would have been happy hanging at the cabin but I dragged them to a couple caves!

Lovely cabin

Beautiful cabin, wonderfully appointed. Great for families. Cabin is spacious with 3 floors and room for everyone to spread out. Host provides ample cabin supplies, linens for all and kitchen is very helpdully labeled with items in every drawer and cabinet. Driveway is very steep but do able. Loved our stay here. out. out
