Cabin was beautiful and very clean! Everything you need is there and was a short drive to the park. Definitely note the heads up about needing 4WD to get into the driveway! We would absolutely reccommend and stay again!

Great place! Nicely furnished, comfy beds, 2 separate bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. In addition, there was a half bath on the first floor. The loft had a couple of beds well suited to kids. The screened porch off the kitchen was so nice, with the grill close. The hot tube was clean and temp at 100 degrees, the fire pit was delightful and had decent chairs at the fire pit. We would come back again. It was thoughtfully furnished, well equipped, and was a great place to enjoy.

This house was beautiful. We absolutely loved it. However the drive way to get into this house was horrendous. We all had sedan type cars and could have easily gotten flat tires. Other than the driveway we recommend this place.

Cabin was clean and spacious

The 3 levels of rooms easily provided space for all 7 of us. We all enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grilling on the deck. The setting on top of the hill was private and the location was within 10-20 minutes of all the Hocking Hills trails and caves.

Peaceful, cozy and memorable!

The cabin all lit up at night was a beautiful view! There were games already there for us to play and plenty of space for everyone to feel included. We didn’t find the telescope in the booking photos but we could see the stars perfectly from the fire pit so that’s a win! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Refreshing weekend getaway in beautiful Hocking Hills during the Fall.

We had quick and easy response with the host. Clean accommodations and quiet surroundings. The grill was new and clean which we enjoyed using. The hot tub cover should be replaced. It made the hot tub uninviting. Also the pans could be replaced. Normally we bring our own electric griddle but we unfortunately forgot this trip. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at The Cardinal’s Nest. It was comfortable and a very nice place to stay. We hope to stay there again!

It was so much fun!

I liked that the place was clean and I loved the games that were provided such as corn hole, hookey, and the arcade game. The screened in porch was nice and the extra chiller for drinks downstairs.

First of all it’s adorable and well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of hooks and blankets and towels! Hot tub was clean. The location is a 20-30 min drive to things BUT beautifully remote and the roads and driveway after a light snow the night before were perfectly kept. We will be back.
