Enjoy our recently renovated, 1450 SF split level ranch with AC, in the heart of the Green Mountains, with your family or for a couples getaway. Perfect stay for a wedding, golf trip, or weekend of outdoor fun!

The upstairs has a queen bedroom, a bunk room with double & twin, and a separate bedroom with a twin. One full bath upstairs. Brand new kitchen! The downstairs has a queen with separate full bathroom and newly renovated family room with a big screen TV.

Other amenities include AC, Wi-Fi, washer, dryer, dishwasher, 4 TVs, wireless printer; linens and towels provided, hardwood floors, nest thermostats, town water and sewer, paved road (no mud season!), Weber 3-burner gas grill, deck with furniture, large backyard, yard games (corn hole, kid-friendly darts; bocci), 3 bicycles, loveseat bench, scenic views. Windows have blinds and/or curtains to offer you privacy. Keyless entry and extensive on-site parking.

The large deck is equipped with table, chairs, shade umbrella, and a Weber gas grill. There’s a spectacular view from the deck overlooking the Proctor Piper Forest (trailhead 1.8 miles from the house), and our large backyard. Take a walk down to the Black River that flows behind the property.

The house provided all we needed as a home base to explore the little towns in the area. We were comfortable, and there were plenty of places nearby to get supplies or have a meal. In an area with light traffic and away from the worst of the tourist crowds. Lovely views from the deck.

A great ski house

A fantastic home that made our stay easy and comfortable. Close to Okemo and Ludlow center made it hassle-free and the comfort of the kitchen and living are was perfect.

Great house and hosts, there is small renovation being done downstairs, but this house is like you second house very well stock and great location only 9 minutes from Okemo!I already sent link to my friends!

Great vacation

This home was the perfect spot for our family spending a ski weekend at Okemo. Everything was as advertised and Marti was a great host. The hot tub was also top notch after long days in the cold. The kids are already asking us when we can go back. If you’re looking for a great property for your trip, look no further!

Comfortable Enjoyable House

We picked this house because it was central to our traveling plans to see the fall colors. We also relied on the good reviews and the house photos. We were not disappointed ! Ski Trip

House is perfect for a ski trip! Nice side entrance with a large mud room to store all the gear. Beds were comfortable and nice to have sheets and towels included. Bathrooms in hallways are accessible to everyone. Well stocked kitchen and a Weber grill on the deck.

A home away from home!

This property has it all. beauty, comfort, scenery, entertainment, convenience, etc. The house is spotlessly clean and Marti has thought of everything you may need in a home away from home! The AC units are quiet, the neighborhood is charming and in major State road. She provided instruction for anything you might have question for. She was super generous to allow us to check out really late. If you want to take a real vacation without anxiety, don't hesitate to book this house.

Picturesque Family Vermont Getaway

Very pleasant, the Outlook behind the house was lovely. Layout was very practical and convenient. Could have used more warm blankets. Google nest thermostat instructions were communicated but there were some technical hurdles to work through. Overall expensive with the cleaning fee but did enjoy it. Would recommend a bit more clarity on that at outset.

would stay again but inconsistent heating in some parts of house

only complaint is some inconsistent heating in one room. people staying in that room said it was extremely cold in the morning and very hot at night. other rooms were fine. owner was communicative about issues that were out of his control and took steps to remediate them (town water issues but supplied brita filter).

If you are looking for a quiet spot, this property is conveniently located in a peaceful setting in a small town in the heart of the Green Mountains. We have a gorgeous mountain view off the large back deck, a large yard, and are close to many attractions, such as Okemo Mt., Killington Mt. Woodstock, Plymouth State Park, extensive hiking trails, and much more. We are 25 minutes from Claremont, NH and 30 minutes from Rutland, VT.
