Ici vous pouvez trouver le vrai TRÉSOR DE NEAHKAHNIE! Le vĂ©ritable trĂ©sor de Neahkahnie est l'Ă©nergie de la montagne - la puissante "force vitale" qu'elle dĂ©tient et met Ă  la disposition de chacun de nous. Neah-kah-nie signifie "lieu des esprits".

Trois cents pieds au-dessus des vagues au bord de l'océan de la montagne Neahkahnie, à trente pieds au-dessus du sol, entouré d'épinettes de Sitka géantes et de sapins de Douglas. Bien sorti de la zone du tsunami. Regardez à travers les arbres, au sud et à l'ouest de l'océan. Levez les yeux depuis la mezzanine à travers une immense lucarne au-delà des branches jusqu'aux étoiles de la nuit.

C'est un endroit pour laisser la ville et la culture urbaine derriĂšre - une zone sans tĂ©lĂ©vision (vidĂ©o / DVD / wi-fi disponible). Une retraite dans le monde oĂč le reste de la nature parle fort. OĂč les aigles tournent et chantent. Vous pouvez toucher la vraie paix et la magie ici.

Construit à la main, avec amour, il y a trente ans. Rocher au large de la montagne, cÚdre de la riviÚre. Le loft et le plafond sont en séquoia. C'est un nid à partir duquel des livres, des articles et des visions du monde dans lequel nous nous dirigeons ont éclos et pris leur envol.

La plage est Ă  quinze minutes Ă  pied sur la route, et une belle promenade aĂ©robie remonter. Un court trajet en voiture vers Oswald West State Park, le sentier jusqu'Ă  la montagne Neahkahnie, la ville de Manzanita ou le parc d'État de Nehalem Bay.

Le Nid est un endroit pour commencer un nouveau voyage, pour rafraĂźchir votre Ăąme, pour trouver une nouvelle profondeur, une nouvelle croissance; choisir de nouveaux avenirs en vous.

Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was fine, but the refrigerator was too small, but that is in the information provided. We managed pretty well as much of the time we were eating out, trying some of the great restaurants in the area.

Heavenly View

This was the most amazing place with a view that cannot be beaten in Manzanita. We loved the careful little details, the sleeping quarters and the many books. This place is a gem!

Wonderful third stay at Eagle's Nest

We always love our time in Neahkahnie at the Eagle's Nest. It's a favorite coastal get-away in a unique and inspiring place. This time we shared it with friends who were also impressed with the architecture, ambience, solitude, and changing sea/sky vistas. It's a treasure!

Anniversary getaway

Best views of the ocean!! Great house for the two of us to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Super cozy and prefect. It did rain for the entire stay, but it just made the house even more cozy. Lots of books to choose from and read while overlooking the beach/ocean.

Another great Eagle's Nest experience

Our second stay at the Eagle's Nest was just as wonderful as our first last winter. The home nestled in the trees on the mountain side is amazing. The ocean and sky views are awe-inspiring. We will return often.

Unique and relaxing home

This was a wonderful place to stay as it was so different from home. Beautiful views of the ocean from so many of the rooms made it feel like we were on vacation. The presentation in VRBO certainly was not photoshopped. Home is clean and comfortable and has everything you need.

Amazing!

The Eagle’s Nest did not disappoint! It is the perfect place to decompress and enjoy your surroundings. Drinking coffee and enjoying slow mornings, looking at the Pacific was amazing! Definitely a hidden gem!

Amazing views and attention to detail.

It was a rainy weekend but I could have stayed sitting looking at the everchanging ocean forever. Eagles' Nest is a special place, built with mindful attention from the house siting to the colors on the walls to the beautiful wood materials. Perfect for a retreat or an exploration of the area. I look forward to returning.

A Special New Year's Celebration

This was our fourth stay at the Eagle's Nest and it never fails to be a wonderful experience. Celebrating New Year's Eve/Day in such a unique environment was special. Seeing the lights of 20 fishing boats out in the ocean at night was spectacular. Walking down to Manzanita and seeing the beach crowded with people taking part in the annual "Polar Plunge" was a fun surprise. We always have new experiences while staying here and will definitely return.

The view of the GOD’S!!!!

Absolutely stunning. Every minute spent felt special, from the morning to the night, you can see the beauty of this place, it feels magical. My second favorite part of this place was sleeping with window open and having the ocean put you to sleep, there’s no way that you can have a bad day.

50th Anniversary

We were there 6 nights. It was a different coastal experience. Our two most favorite vacations are beach and forest camping. We had the best of both. Such beautiful views and peaceful. At first we weren’t sure if we were going to hear the ocean, but yes. And the home was very nice and cozy cabin feeling. Thank you

loved the Eagle's Nest

Wonderful home high above the surf. Central location to Astoria in the north and Tillamook in the south. Manzanita is the cutest town. Went to Wild Apple every day for supplies. Loved sleeping in the loft with the skylight and huge window, like a tree house. Thank you Faye for an unforgettable experience!

An eventful week

The Eagle's Nest is indeed a " treasure" and a "retreat to refresh your soul". We were mesmerized watching the ever-changing Pacific Ocean and awed by the craftsmanship of the home. We were lucky to encounter a rare coastal snow event while there and enjoyed the cozy, peaceful environment. The host is very caring and helpful. We will be back often.

Discover serendipity

I can't say enough about our experience at the Eagle's Nest. If you're looking for complete simplicity, unobstructed views of the most beautiful scenery in the country and a feeling of pure peace within and out, this place is a perfect fit. You are engulfed in nature. Host was very responsive and enjoyable to work with. Manzanita is such a quaint little town with friendly and accommodating people. We were planning our next trip before leaving this one. HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful getaway in the woods

Perfect place to relax and reflect. Enjoyed the side porch in the late afternoon, then as the weather was wonderfully cool, enjoyed the warmth of the fire later in the evening. Very comfortable. The kitchen well supplied. Incredible library. Very clean. Wonderful view and just a memorable stay. My husband and I would certainly stay here again if we come up this way again. Just loved it.

Escape from the midwest

This Vrbo provided us exactly what our souls needed and that went well beyond different landscape. It was a better way of living in a more co-existential life with the world around us and all the powers known and unknown. Every need was accounted for and we left this amazing place better, more inspired people. The space was perfect for our family of 4 with our 2 kids (9 and 10). They found all sorts of interesting things in the place. I wish I was a faster reader, though, as there was a huge volume of inspiring literature.

We moved here 40 years ago, to be where nature spoke loudly, and to find community and culture in harmony with all life. With children grown, we've downsized. I moved my office back into the house, and converted my 'office' into a place where others can connect with the soul of this place.

Neahkahnie Mountain can be a deep and powerful experience. It clears out the confusion of urban culture, and brings us in touch with eternal truths and the wisdom of all Creation. Eagles, elk, deer, hummingbirds and other life are more present than people. Ocean, sun, trees, two miles of quiet beach, numerous nearby coastal state parks give opportunity to open our hearts to deeper and broader vision.
