Magnificent views from an older property
Our group of 8 enjoyed the magnificent views from this interesting property. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart. In the winter, it would be extremely challenging. When we arrive, the heat was not turned on and it was very cold. We were looking forward to having wood-burning fires in each of the fireplaces but unfortunately, they did not leave us firewood as I had requested in advance. We contacted them and someone brought firewood later that night.
The master suite is really nice in the bathroom is incredible and is very appropriate for anyone with handicaps with all the grab bars. Kitchen is well outfitted, except we were missing knives and forks. In the quantity of eight. We use the barbecue extensively on the deck. Nice seating outside, and a table. Downstairs the family room has been converted into a bedroom with three beds. That bathroom contains the sauna, which we did use quite a bit. It turns on easily and heats up quickly. Unfortunately, the windows desperately needed to be cleaned, which impacted our view. But overall a wonderful stay. They will not let you check in early FYI even if someone is not even there.
