Bienvenue à Mallard View Estate. Perché au bord d'un marais salant vierge, ce domaine de 3 000 pieds carrés avec vue sur l'océan se trouve à 3/4 mile du centre-ville, de la plage de Skaket et de la piste cyclable. Emplacement isolé fabuleux au bout d'une impasse tranquille dans un quartier exclusif, niché au milieu d'un verger de 1 acre et orné d'un grand belvédÚre victorien pour vos thés d'aprÚs-midi ou vos réceptions familiales. RiviÚre capable de kayak à travers le marais mÚne de la cour arriÚre à la plage.

Un immense pont surplombe l'un des meilleurs marais de la vie sauvage du Cap (le paradis des observateurs d'oiseaux) ainsi que de magnifiques couchers de soleil dans votre propre arriÚre-cour privée. Profitez d'une vue magnifique de chaque piÚce. Deux chambres de maßtre, deux autres grandes chambres et deux canapés-lits. En bas se trouve un appartement entiÚrement séparé avec chambre, kitchenette et salon avec canapé-lit, idéal si deux familles partagent la maison. Table de salle à manger pour 10 à 12 personnes. Nous fournissons un ordinateur, une imprimante et un service DSL. Pour votre commodité, un gardien de terrain habite tranquillement au-dessus du garage.

Nous sommes Ă  quelques pas de la belle plage de Skaket et de Rock Harbor, oĂč partent les bateaux de pĂȘche charter. ParticularitĂ© - de fabuleux feux d'artifice du 4 juillet se produisent presque dans notre arriĂšre-cour, vous offrant l'une des meilleures vues sur le Cap. Profitez-en avec vos amis depuis notre grande terrasse arriĂšre - un endroit idĂ©al pour un barbecue. Une autre caractĂ©ristique unique - nous faisons face au nord-ouest, donc de magnifiques couchers de soleil sur la baie de Cape Cod sont parfaitement vus depuis notre pont chaque nuit.

OrlĂ©ans est le centre de la vie culturelle du mid cape. Un charmant village avec de merveilleux restaurants, magasins, glaces, cafĂ©s et magasins d'antiquitĂ©s. À 1/4 mile se trouve Ă©galement le cĂ©lĂšbre Cape Cod Trail pour le vĂ©lo. Provincetown et Hyannis sont Ă  seulement 30 minutes en voiture pour observer les baleines, faire du shopping et des restaurants fabuleux. Bien que gĂ©nĂ©ralement considĂ©rĂ©e comme un point chaud d'Ă©tĂ©, la cape est Ă©galement dĂ©licieuse hors saison pour une escapade tranquille.

Very nice house to fit my 12 friends. Excellent accommodations and great location for us to get around the baseball fields of the Cape. Loved the views in the morning and evening sunset! Sat out at night and had a warm fire! Enjoyed the short ride to Hog Island brewery for good music, food and beer! Great place to stay!

Extended Family Getaway

My extended family got together for a long weekend. It’s the third time we’ve rented the home and as always, it checked all the boxes. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, all of the necessities for meals and BBQing, and a great yard to hang around in when we weren’t at the beach or out and about.

Amazing house, beautiful views and great location!

If you’re looking for a perfect place for your getaway on the cape with family or friends, this house has got it all (besides linens, gotta bring those)! We made such great memories in this home, it felt like home by the end of our stay. Everything we needed for comfort and fun was there (air conditioning, tv, grill, crochet, beautiful kitchen for cooking and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating). Couldn’t have asked for a better place, and Trudy was such a wonderful host!

Family vacation

This was our second stay at this property and was fantastic overall. It was also clear that the owners have made significant upgrades in the last year (updates to the kitchen and bathrooms, painting) that were wonderful. The house itself is spacious and accommodates our whole group comfortably, and the location and view cannot be beat. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Spectacular sunsets and marshland views over looking Skajet Beach.

This was our third stay here. Perfect location with spectacular sunset views overlooking marsh land and Skaket Beach. House needs updating but can easily accommodate 8 adults and two young children. Works well for our family. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Trudy's property in late July/early August. Overall, the house was absolutely beautiful and the location was amazing. A few items for the owner to consider for future improvement: - The lower level had a very strong musty smell - hard to avoid right by the water, I know, but making that clear in the listing could be important for those who are extremely sensitive to that.- There were not clear instructions about where to find things like extra paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc.- Check-out instructions weren't very clear so I have no idea if we did everything the owner expected.- We found dust and dead bugs in some of the dishes in the cabinets. It was easy to give them a quick wash, but the owners should communicate with their cleaning staff to be more diligent about this.We would definitely book this location again in the future, especially if the owners make some of the above improvements!

July family stay

view is superb. Sitting on the deck a wonderful way to spend hours. Birding is good fun. Gazebos a treat to have a drink in. Inside, things are not so great. Some areas, apparently newly refurbished, are good but too many others are moldy, decayed and smelly. Needs work to bring everything up to previous magnificence.

Great multi generational vacation house

Nice big property. We had 4 generations under one roof. Great view over the marsh. Do be aware the photos are a little misleading. We thought we'd be able to access the marsh waterways at high tide, but that is not the case. Chris the property manager was great. I'd definitely come back. Short bike to Skaket beach and Rock Harbor.

Spectacular marsh views overlooking Skaket Beach

Convenient location and spectacular marsh views overlooking Skaket Beach from expansive deck are the selling features for this home. The house is in need of updates but the kitchen was recently renovated and AC installed. With 5 bedrooms 3.5 baths it easily accommodates our large family. We love spending time on the deck and watching the sun go down over the water. We have been returning for several years and plan to keep coming back. Trudy is a good host, always accessible and responsive.

Scenic property, great for family visits

We stayed there during the July 4th week. The sunsets over the bay were extraordinary! I think we saw fireworks at least three nights from the back deck. Since the house is right at the edge of the tidal marsh, the kids had fun learning about the crabs, birds and bunnies that they would see every day. Every day felt a little different depending upon the weather but was always beautiful in a different way. The house is great for family visits. Lots of space to come together, but also privacy when you need it. Hosts were polite and responsive. We didn't really need much because everything was fine as is, but they were quick to answer if we had a simple question.

Mallard View

The pros: The property was large and a great size for our family. The maintenance man, Chris, who is on site was very nice and asked times if we had any issues. The view was amazing and plenty of room to play outside. Home had amazingly detailed woodwork and tile flooring. The cons: Home is very dated and was not clean, even for a rental. Given the rental price, I would expect the home to be clean and to have some better updates to the property. Overall, a large and decent place, with a great view.

Roomy rental with superb view

A few minor fixes & this home would be an excellent & desirable rental. A spider infestation is evident in the walk-out level. New mattresses & pillows are needed on all beds. The mattresses have lost support & the pillows are stained & musty. Basically, all the bedding is soiled. In a rental, I'm sure this is hard to avoid. The view is lovely and we enjoyed it both from the indoors & sitting on the deck.

Family get together

Stunning view over the salt marshes. Spacious deck and garden. Lots of space indoors with plenty of space for our group of 12. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. Some rooms have been newly updated, but as other reviewers have mentioned, other parts need to be refurbished. For us the musty smell in the lower level, the kitchen drawers and the broken screens in the lower level were the most serious. However, the beautiful setting, spacious grounds and multiple seating areas meant this house worked well for our group.

Fabulous location!

The location can't be beat. The layout of the house allowed for privacy and lots of space to enjoy our time together. The house itself could use some TLC. That didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay.

We originally bought the land for resale, but once we started building the house we fell in love with the view. The sunsets are spectacular and sitting on the deck watching the marsh and bay was so peaceful. We hope that others who rent our home will love it as much as we do
