Park the car and put away the keys—everything you need is just a short walk away! Our cozy retreat is ideally located next to Ponderosa State Park, offering year-round outdoor adventures. Enjoy scenic hiking and biking trails, wildlife viewing, and fishing in the spring, summer, and fall. When winter arrives, the area transforms into a snowy playground with top-notch Nordic skiing and snowshoeing right out your door.

Looking for more thrills? We’re just 20 minutes from Brundage Mountain Resort and 30 minutes from Tamarack Resort for world-class skiing and snowboarding. Or spend a relaxing day soaking in the area’s natural hot springs—Gold Fork Hot Springs is just 30 miles south, and Burgdorf Hot Springs is 32 miles north.

In less than five minutes, you can stroll to a local coffee house or reach the lakeside, where you’ll find a beautiful beach and park perfect for young children, as well as watercraft rentals for older kids and adults.

Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this location truly has something for everyone!

We had an excellent experience at the Pine Place. It was very comfortable, clean and well furnished. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - close to restaurants, museums, hiking and biking. We highly recommend Pine Place.

We all had a fantastic time. Place was clean and as listed. Close to town, dog friendly (minus the neighbor that tried to tell me I wasn't allowed to have my dog). She was very snotty. Nothing the owner could fix. Just people. We really enjoyed the walk to town and the cute little place.

This was our second stay here in the winter
close To everything and the condo is perfect for a family of four or Two couples. Has everything you need in the kitchen, it’s clean and Super Comfortable! The hosts are very Responsive and were flexible With Our requests, which I really appreciated!!

The condo was perfectly comfortable for 4 adults! Being pet friendly was key for us so we were very excited to stay here. Location is close enough to town to walk and the view from the balcony is great! Working with the owners was a pleasure!

This third floor condo is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed for our short stay. It was also spotless. I would not hesitate to go back.

McCall getaway

This property was perfect. Check-in was a breeze. Decor of the condo was lovely, comfortable and mountain modern. The kitchen was well stocked. This condo was easily within walking distance to the lake and restaurants and all the downtown action. We parked our car in the space provided and did not use it again until we left. This condo had a lovely partial view of the lake from the patio. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Overall good place for a night

I thought it was a little difficult to find which unit it was. I think they should advertise what floor it is on so that way before booking people are aware. The pictures make it look bigger than it really is. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a night.

Outside asthetics are not what is in photos. Listing doesn’t show it’s a 3rd floor apartment so if you are elderly.. then I would look around.Neighbors dogs barked nonstop and their garbage was outside in front of entry door. We had to park off the property as there wasn’t any parking. Mildew on shower. Floors dirty. Windows had dead flies.All containers in bathroom, soap, shampoo, etc was empty. Lightbulbs burned out in bathroom. Bed was nice. No ac. At all. Smokers downstairs. Don’t open the sliding balcony door or you will smell smoke all night. Overall a decent stay but there are way better amenities in McCall for the same or better price. This one is a bit dated. 4/10 star.

Lovely place but noisy neighbors

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The place is very nice and comfortable, and we had everything that we needed. There were about 4 men staying in the adjacent unit, and they were very noisy from 8pm to about midnight. They started again the second night. We pounded on the wall a couple of times and they were quiet from then on.

Worked for a single night

This property was in a nice location near the lake, and the owners were responsive and easy to communicate with. The photos make the apartment look spacious, when in fact it is very small, and was fairly rundown. By the time you pay the cleaning fee, taxes, and VRBO fees, this place is over nearly twice the advertised price. The cleaning fee is unfair since you are required to wash the dishes and strip the beds, and even asked to do as much laundry as you can. All in all this place was okay for the night, but I only give it two stars for overall value. I feel a little deceived, and wouldn't choose it again.

It offers easy access to everything McCall has to offer, yet feels peaceful and tucked away. Our son can play for hours outside and loves sledding on the nearby hills during winter—just a short walk from the house. Up here, he’s like a completely different child—more free, more joyful—and we knew we wanted to create lasting family memories in this very spot. This home isn’t just a rental to us—it’s a special place where we slow down, reconnect, and soak in quiet moments together.
