Quick Getaway

My husband and I decided to take a quick getaway while my kids are with their dad. This cottage was the perfect rental! The pool is close and overlooks the bay. The cottage is cozy, very clean, well decorated, and just minutes from town. Bonus being pet friendly! We will absolutely be back!

Comfortable Cottage

Comfortable, excellent decor & amenities. Easy walk to bay waters. Nice to be able to bring small dog on trip. Good location. Only one thing to mention……outdoor common areas are not well kept. Was nice to have a covered area to sit outdoors to view the water, watch the squirrels & listen to the birds.

We had a great time absolutely wonderful little house had everything we possibly needed and more i have never stayed anywhere that had so much neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. My 15 yr old twin boys made us laugh so hard they went fishing on the dock at night and herd a couple of whistles they thought of the siren songs from mermaid legend and thought they were coming to get them so they headed back to the hoyse and a pelican started dive bombing them they told me this and I laughed so hard this was definitely a vacation that wont soon be forgotten myself and ny 74 year old mom had such a great time i highly recommend staying here we'll be back but for a little bit longer nex time thanks for sharing your home with me and my family the Cox Family

Enjoyed both the cottage and condo.

We chose the cabin for a short vacation to Rockport. Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and well furnished. We had our great-granddaughter with us and she was able to do her online school using the wi-fi provided which worked very well without any signal problems. The location was easy to find and checking in was as easy as punching in the code for the door. The fishing pier was in great shape and although the fish weren't biting it was a nice day of fishing. The only issue was a problem with the septic system on our third day. We were leaving to go to Port Aransas for the day went we received a call about the problem. They told us that we would have to move to another property for our final two nights. We agreed and were set up in a nice condo unit on the other end of Rockport. This property was very nice as well. Our unit was on the 3rd floor with a great view off the balcony. I use a mobility scooter and everything, including the fishing piers, was accessible at both facilities. Except for the inconvenience of moving in the middle of our stay, we had a very nice time at both properties. We'll definitely use Miss Kitty's next time we visit the Rockport/Fulton area.

Beautiful cottage beach front and fully stocked.

This property was absolutely perfect. Very clean and stocked with kitchen utensils, toiletries, movies. Beautifully decorated and maintained. The whole family loved and enjoyed it we’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful Cottage

Very nice cottage

This should have been a 5 star stay, and the ONLY thing that kept that from happening was the fact that the details on the booking site says there is a discount for veterans/first responders but when questioned they said it didn't apply to 3rd party bookings, however, they charged us an additional pet fee outside of the 3rd party booking site...if you can "charge" outside of the 3rd party you can just as easily give a credit... I did email them about this before doing the review but did not get a response...we feel this is very misleading...

A Salty Texan was a great place to stay for a month. The bed is comfy, shower is great, and the cottage is well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The grill works well and cooks that wonderful fresh shrimp! Our final payment was taken 2 weeks ahead of time - Aren't you glad the money was available. When we arrived we were a bit early and whomever I spoke with was able to get us set up in just a few minutes.

Perfect for family of 4!!

This place was beautiful, clean, and easy to find!! The teal theme inside was so refreshing and we had everything we needed…including a blender for mixed drinks! The “kid area” was so perfect for our 6 y/o and offered a little privacy for adults. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place!!! Also, Miss Kitty’s property management was amazing. They were very professional, easy to contact, and helpful.
