We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. A couple of notes: The queen bed was not very comfortable - the king was great. Also, while the surfaces were all clean, the floor needed some attention.I hope we can stay here again!

Super cute place that had a lovely drive with plenty of nature and deer. We loved staying here for the few days we did. The host was quick to respond when I had an issue and the rental had a lot of little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Would be a great place to stay for a girls trip or even as a family like I did with my kids and husband. Will recommend and plan to stay here again in the future. The wifi was fast which made my kids happy and allowed me to work during our stay.

Great little house!

Awesome little property a few blocks from a boat dock and only 20 minutes to the rockport beach which I highly recommend for families. The owner was kind and quick to respond. Very well priced and no unreasonable requirements for the checking in and out processes!

The only issue we had is that our F250 and boat barely fit. We had read other reviews that mentioned room for parking a boat but a large boat and truck was tough. Otherwise the place was excellent! No complaints at all!

Just what we needed!

We absolutely loved our stay! Sherri was so kind, we accidentally thought check-in was at 2pm when it was actually 3pm. Sherri took the time to change the code to let us have access early! Beautiful house, walking distance to a boat launch area. Not too far from Rockport beach and things to do. Super comfy bed, felt very inviting.

We love Goose Island

My husband, daughter and I loved our stay here. Just enough nature with the deer, water, birds...and spooky twisted trees. The short drive to Rockport with beautiful bridge over the bay was so nice. The house was spotless and so comfortable. I've never seen a home so stocked.... plenty of towels, blankets to cosy up on couch with....and kitchen was amazing...we could cook anything. My husband is ready to come back and stay forever.

Great location, great price, great owners!

The owners are exceptionally kind and communicate wonderfully. They take excellent care of the property and have clearly put a lot of thought into the decor, creating a welcoming and comfortable space. It’s perfect for a group of friends and would also suit a small family. The kitchen is well-stocked with real dishes, along with convenient options like paper plates, utensils, and paper towels. The beds are incredible—this was the first vacation home or hotel where I woke up completely free of back pain.And that is coming from someone who is actively awaiting spinal surgery. The location is fantastic, just minutes from Goose Island for fishing off the pier, and there’s a 7-11 conveniently down the street. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and agreed this house stands out among all the others we’ve rented in the area—it’s truly the best.
