2 + bedroom cabin with loft has been completely renovated while keeping the original charm. Located on private wilderness preserve close to Minnewaska State Park. Hike to private waterfall. Cook a meal on the Garland stove. Enjoy all the Hudson Valley has to offer. 22 Minutes to New Paltz, 15 minutes to 2 fabulous wineries, distilleries. Incredible hiking out your backdoor.

Wonderful Romantic Peaceful getaway.... just what I wanted and hoped forHiked to the waterfall, tasted at the local winery and even visited a Sheep farm (we will be back up for the "lambing" in MarchKatie texted us to make sure we had everything we neededAnd.... the kitchen was GOURMET classExcellence

Perfect Cabin Getaway!

The gatehouse was a perfect spot for a girls trip getaway. Secluded enough, but close to some local activities and restaurants! Cozy vibe and place had everything we needed!

I love this cottage. I keep going back for fall hikes on the property and in Minnewaska State park. With the charming restaurants, One with Land and Benton's, down the road, it makes for the perfect long weekend. The rooms are well kept and so charming, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need. I highly recommend this property.

Cozy cottage in the Catskills

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was clean, cozy and perfect for a weekend away. The private hiking trails on the property were amazing and Katie, the property manager was super helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely Beautiful

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding and my husband and I the night of my wedding ..it is absolutely beautiful and private just what we wanted! Would definitely stay here again!

I would recommend this as a romatic getaway or a family friendly stay. Honestly...I was blown away..the fireplace was massive and beautiful, the kitchen was big, modern and equipped. For the cooks out there...the stove is awesome! The host was super friendly and attentive. And for anyone who understands......if you watch the YouTube fireplace backgrounds....it WAS THAT. Love this place. I will be back.

We had a much too brief stay, but what a lovely cottage in the most gorgeous setting. It has the feel of an old-school cabin but all the conveniences of a modern home. We especially loved the eclectic and plentiful selection of books. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the rushing creek nearby. A great base to explore all the glorious hiking in the area. We'll definitely be back!

This house was perfect for 2adults. The property is well maintained and has more amenities than we got around to using. Great nostalgic decor. Fully equipped kitchen with one appliance missing…a dishwasher. Otherwise a very cozy vacation!

A perfect getaway!

The property was very clean and comfortable! Katie was responsive to all our requests. We had a great weekend hiking and the area had great restaurants and the distillery was fun. The house itself was well equipped. I’d like to go back when it is warmer to enjoy the outside amenities like the deck and fire pit.We will be back!

Part of a much larger property called the Awosting Club, this cottage sits at the entrance to a natural wonderland. Walk outside your door and access miles of beautiful carriage roads, waterfalls and cliffs - all on private property. We are adjacent to the Awosting Reserve entrance to Minnewaska State Park, so location is prime for anyone who loves mountain biking & hiking
