The place was lovely and everything we needed for a fun, relaxing getaway. The owner was quick to respond when we had any issues or questions. We would definitely recommend and hope to return!

This is a magical place in the trees and at times felt like a treehouse. The two outdoor spaces more than make up for a somewhat small interior space. Pool is lovely and the host was super friendly and communicative. Nearby so many beautiful spots in the area for hiking, swimming, and eating! We loved it!

Property is beautiful my family and I enjoyed the serenity. Of course the kids enjoyed the pool, and the sauna was wonderful. Yanna made the process smooth from the very beginning. Highly recommend.

Yanna is a great host. Sauna was awesome. (Pool wasnt open yet) house is very clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom is smaller than we expected but does what it needs to. Master bed is very comfortable! Just up the road is a gorgeous waterfall. Thank you, Yanna, for everything.

Great Property. Just a few small issues which were rectified quickly by the property managers. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property but we were here for a wedding. Lovely Fall weekend and enjoyed the local farms apple cider and fall festival.

Unfathomable Serenity

One of the greatest vacations I’ve ever had. Wonderful retreat. I may contact the host for architectural plans so I can build something of a similar similitude. Definitely a dream estate :D

Great quiet qetaway

Very clean and comfortable getaway. Perfect for relaxation, especially the sauna. Beautiful trails nearby to explore. Yanna, the owner was accommodating, gave us a good list of places to visit. Unfortunately we had some rain but the fire stove and movies, besides reading was fine for us. I would imagine is even better in summer with that nice big pool on site.

Relaxation in the Woods

The property itself is beautiful, and in a great location. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we really enjoyed our time there overall.Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues during our visit. We experienced a loss of water, the pool was dirty when we arrived (we even swam in it that morning before being told it required treatment and couldn’t be used for the rest of the day), and the front door had come off its track and couldn’t be locked properly, it was easy to open if you pulled hard enough.To the property manager’s credit, communication was prompt throughout, and the water and pool issues were resolved quickly. However, it was frustrating to have several different people coming to the property to deal with maintenance during our stay, and no one came to repair the front door.I was also disappointed to receive the swimming pool liability waiver at midnight on the day our stay began. This is something that should really be sent in advance so guests have time to review it and return it before arrival.Overall, it’s a lovely property with a lot of potential, but it was disappointing to encounter so many issues that appeared to stem from a lack of routine maintenance. With better upkeep and a few operational improvements, this would easily be a 5-star stay.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m so glad you enjoyed the property, its location, and your overall stay. I sincerely apologize for the maintenance issues that occurred during your visit. While these were isolated issues rather than the result of ongoing upkeep, I understand how frustrating it is to have unexpected repairs take place during a vacation. As you noted, we responded as quickly as possible to restore the water, which was repaired within hours. Our pool is professionally serviced every week, and that service often takes place during guest stays. While there was some debris in the pool before the scheduled service, the pool remained safe to swim throughout your stay. Unfortunately, the front door required a replacement part that could not be installed before your departure. I also appreciate your feedback regarding the pool waiver. I’ve updated my process to ensure future guests receive it before check-in. Thank you again for your feedback. We take comments like yours seriously and are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience.

Heavenly Privacy

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, cozy and so easy. Quiet and in the middle of nowhere but ten minute drive to everything! How is that even possible? Communicating with Yanna was great; clear, generous, and flexible - so quick to reply to our questions or needs. We were three friends come together from the far reaches of the country for a wedding. In the mornings, we would roll out of bed, coffee already happening, and pour ourselves into the sauna. Then, all steamy and relaxed, we'd lounge for hours reading, laughing, drinking, talking in the adirondack chairs on the expansive deck surrounded by the lush views of autumn red and gold leaves. And later into the night, feasting indoors or out. Great WiFi - worked a remote video job with ease. Went hiking in gorgeous nearby Minnewaska State Park Preserve and, oh yeah, the wedding was fantastic. The occasional rooster crowing was the only evidence of nearby humans. Exactly what we hoped for. Cozy and easy. We're coming back for pool season next time.

Great Vacation

We met the property manager when we arrived. She was very nice and showed us around the property. The cabin was very clean and ready to go. The pool was also very clean and was very refreshing after our hikes in the near by mountains. The AC kept us cool even though the temperature was near 95 degrees every day we there. I am glad we chose to stay here!

Kerhonkson House

This property is a very sweet little cabin that is in a fantastic location. We went hiking around Lake Minnewaska and then to Westwind Orchard. The sauna was a perfect way to end the day. Super cozy and comfortable.

Nice getaway

We stayed for a week with two kids. The house was a bit tight for space for us but definitely manageable for a week and there’s ample outside space with a very large deck and pool area. Our kids had a lot of fun in the pool and on the tennis court. And at Kelders Farm which is very close. There’s also a decent playground nearby in Warwarsing.

The cabin was lovely, as well as the deck, pool and tennis court. It was a very relaxing 4 days.

Relaxing Getaway

We had such a nice time at this amazing stay in the country, we wish we could have stayed longer! Loved waking up to nature from sleeping in a cozy bed and having our days consist of the pool, tennis, and sunshine. Hope to return in the future!

Great House and Property

We spent the Memorial Day Weekend in the Catskills and had a great time despite the constant rain and 45 degree weather. Unfortunately we weren't able to use the pool and only played tennis for 20min before it started to rain again. The house is great for a family - and would be even better w/o rain! It's centrally located to everything we wanted to do (Bethel Woods, Rail Explorers in Phoenicia, Storm King, Di Beacon, etc...) and was a comfortable home to relax and enjoy each other's company. We'd highly recommend to others and would return ourselves. Thank you!

Great location, great house.

The house is lovely and cozy and in very good condition. The property is lovely too, though we did not spend time on the deck given the 30-degree temperatures! It was a great base for the hiking and exploring we wanted to do in the area. All of our dealings with the host were easy and pleasant. I would certainly recommend a stay here.

Charming and chic modern cabin

We loved our stay in this lovely, upgraded modern cabin. It was very well appointed and while peaceful and remote, also close enough to fabulous activities and services. Ayanna was the ideal host - responsive and communicative. She attended to lots of details and we can’t wait to come back in every season. Highly recommend this winter “snow globe” experience complete with gorgeous trees, deer and the sweetest indoor pipe stove. Already looking at booking for summer to enjoy the pool and tennis court.
