This beautiful home sits on a lushly landscaped lawn, has amazing ocean views and is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. La Dolce Vida is well-appointed and provides everything you and your family will need for an unforgettable vacation!

Inside, you’ll find an open living space, which is great for guests who want to stay connected to their loved ones. The living room has modern and comfortable furniture, perfect for gathering around in the evening. Gather around the flat-screen TV and watch your favorite shows and movies to unwind each night. The large kitchen is well-stocked and updated to feature high-end appliances. The custom kitchen island is spacious enough to seat six guests. Enjoy meals together at the dining table that seats eight guests. Step out the back door to a spacious deck where you can have dinner at the patio table.

The first primary bedroom has a king-size bed and a flat-screen TV with a separate sitting space as well as a cozy fireplace! The primary bathroom features a shower with a separate, generously sized soaking tub. The second primary suite has a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and boasts partial ocean views. The fourth bedroom offers full-size bed with a flat-screen TV.

The place was stunning and had a great location. The first day we noticed that there were ants in the kitchen above the sink and also the water was not fully turned on because you could take a shower and it only worked in one restroom. I notified the office and the next day it was all taken care of! The pool was great and we all enjoyed watching movies off the PlayStation 4 that they had. We used the grill and the kitchen had most things to cook everything we made. We would most definitely book this house again

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that there was not a community bathroom. The middle bedroom upstairs had to go through another room to get to a bathroom.

2025 Port A Family Vacation

This property was very nice with plenty of room. Was very clean except the rug in the living room. It looked clean but it smelled really bad. I reported it & we pull it outside. The air conditioner had stopped cooling & they were there to fix it within 10 minutes. The pool is always a big hit with the kids. I wood recommend this property & plan to book again next year.

Beautiful, Spacious, and Perfect for Our Family Vacation!

My family of 5 (we traveled with our three adult sons) had a wonderful time at the La Dolce Vida home. The house is up-to-date, clean, and beautifully decorated—I loved all the details! It offers the perfect amount of space and bathrooms for our family. The pool was a great size and perfect for relaxing!We appreciated the four parking spaces, as we arrived in two vehicles and also rented the golf cart, which gave us plenty of room for everything. The location is fantastic—close to everything we wanted to do in Port Aransas.My only suggestions would be to add a shower head to the main bedroom on the first floor for added convenience, and to update the kitchen chairs for better comfort.Thank you! This house will definitely be one of my favorites for future vacations in Port Aransas!

Disappointing

Unit had bugs, stove missing knob,pool needed cleaning,pans had handles about to fall off,no pot holders or towels in kitchen. Front rug was stained,internet spotty.doors to outside from bedrooms could not be used—they were locked.bed in master suite needs to be replaced,very lumpy. Unit decorated very well.

Weekend family get together

Overall this is a great house in a great convenient location. Minor issues such as oven knob broken so unable to use, loose toilet upstairs, and a large hole in the ceiling. I reached to the property management and they apologized for all and had someone come and check the oven but they had to order a part and was not able to fix. Very pleased with response and none of these affected our trip. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was large enough for everyone to have their own space. Neighborhood was very nice around the house and the location was fantastic whether going to the beach or going out to eat. Overall I would come back again.

Great location and setup.

We enjoyed our stay.. started off rocky but communication with management got biggest concern fixed. Upon arrival our air conditioning was not working and the home was 82. Management was quick to sent help and correct issue after business hours. We did have a bed covered in dog hair (on top and within sheets). They offered to send replacement bedding but we had already began washing everything. Just some things I would note…This home does not have an ice maker (stand alone or in fridge). Also I would note they do not provide ANY salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. The bathrooms only had 2 towels and 1 washcloth in each bathroom. There are no bath mats or anything to eliminate slick tile floors either.

La Dolce Vida

This was the third time we used Silver Sands to rent a house. The first two were awesome! Both very clean and check in/ check out easy and convenient. This third visit we had reserved a house called Tiki Time but in June received a call saying the owner was pulling from Silver Sands. You set use up at La Dolce Vida. The house is beautiful. Location great. Check in and out awesome. However, a few things that need to be addressed. First the washer and dryer need to be replaced. There were towels that were still damp when we arrived. I rewashed them and it took 3 hours for them to fully dry. Also washer had sand in the bottom. Owner needs to replace both. Second ants!!!! In kitchen window there were two ant traps that were not working. I had to put a couple of drops of dish soap to stop them from teaming all over the window seal. Also on bathroom floor bugs too. The house seemed clean but one of the up stairs bed room doors had splatter from either coffee or coke that the cleaning crew missed. We will use Silver Sands again but this particular location needs washer/dryer replaced and a bug guys to come out

Pros: convenient location near the beach and Port A amenities and activities. Included golf cart a plus. Open kitchen and island a plus. Cons: home wasn't ready at normal check in time; walked in on the cleaners and after calling PM, was told they were sorry and it was just a busy time. Backyard pool under construction needs to be noted and compensation made; we were looking forward to using it and were disappointed at this unavailable amenity. Owners' garage not locked and we were chided for accidentally opening that door. Layout is a bit awkward, for example, the bath adjoined to the master bedroom lacks a shower.

Communication breakdown

I received no less than 10 emails/phone callas from the rental company prior to arriving asking to sign this form and that. Seemed repetitive and unnecessary. Once we arrived there were no keys to the included golf cart. When I called and emailed I got no answer or response. Then the next morning there was no hot water. Would go warm to ice cold back and forth. Called and emailed again with no way to reach anyone. Then the oven door fell off the hinges when we tried to cook. Again no communication was able to be established. Phone number went to no one. Will not use this rental company or any of there properties again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 6 night the week of thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The house is layed out well with huge bedrooms. The front courtyard was so perfect to leave all our beach toys, coolers and wash them off. The back yard is completely fenced in which was great for are small kids to play while we grilled or got dinner ready. I’ve never seen so many cooking utensils in a rental, every pot and pan you can imagine. We were missing a cookie sheet and knifes could be sharpened. The beds were comfy, a few extra bath towels would be nice. A broom was the only thing we really needed. I cannot day enough great things about Silver Sands, they went above and beyond to make everything great, we got the 3 hrs early and asked if we could get into the house and they opened the door immediately for us. Then we called and asked if we could upgrade to a larger golf cart and dropped one off 10 mins later! When we left it was pouring down rain and we left the golf cart, they said they would pick it up for us. And once we got home they called and said I hadn’t forgot my wallet, they mailed it to me the next day!! Great Company

Nice Location

Enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect! House had everything we needed. No master shower in one of the downstairs rooms. When you have that many people staying it would be nice to have more towels. Next time we would take our own bath towels.
