Southern Comfort-in town, steps from heated pool, hot tub, beach boardwalk

Come enjoy a day at the beach making memories with your family and friends. This house is perfect if you want a short walk to the beach. This home is setup for large groups to gather. Southern Comfort is newly decorated and has an open floorplan with two nice decks to enjoy the ocean breeze. The covered deck is the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. This home is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Port A, the Sand Point subdivision.

The home sleeps up to 14 people with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, plus a sleeper sofa. Everyone can meet there, since there is plenty of parking in the two driveways (one at the front and one at the side of the house). Enjoy the convenience of a short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the community heated swimming pool and hot tub. We are located in town with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. All living areas and bedrooms come equipped with flat screen TVs with Roku apps for movies and music plus local cable.

You will enter the home on the second floor, which consists of the living room, dining room and fully stocked kitchen, as well as a large deck. This floor also includes the master bedroom, with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a queen bedroom and a full bathroom that opens up to the main living area. The living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa.

The kids suite is located downstairs. The bedroom consists of two bunk beds, with one of them having a full sized bed on one of the bottom bunks. The bedroom offers a little computer area for the kids and full ensuite bathroom, which includes a shower/tub combination.

The top floor features two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a shower. There is a queen bedroom with a private deck. The other bedroom offers a twin bed. There is a small TV/gaming area is also located on this floor with 2 large bean bag chairs – perfect for the older kids and the “big kids” in all of us to have space to play.

Southern Comfort is an undersatemnt

Loved the property! Easy walk to the beach made it even better, we didn’t have to waste money on a golf cart or anything like that, close enough to walk back to if you needed anything(like the bathroom). The rooms were spacious and accommodating, they even had good toilet paper not that John Wayne brand. The kitchen was fully stocked with every thing we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. The host was supper awesome and answered every question we had both before arrival and while we were there.

We brought 2 of our sons and their families to stay here. It was a great property at one of the best locations in Port Aransas. Rooms were great, plenty of kitchen ware and TVs in every room. We would stay here again with pleasure.

Family vacation

We stayed at Southern Comfort on our first family vacation with our 2 adult children and their families. The house was perfect
 big enough, quick walk to the great beach, clean, comfortable. Our host was responsive. I definitely recommend this house.

Comfortable on the coast

Super easy to check in and Suzanne, our host, was incredibly responsive! The home was set up perfectly for all of us to have enough space and privacy to do our own thing but great kitchen/dining/living area for hanging out. With the beach only a short walk down the private road, it was ideal to be able to enjoy beach sunrise and sunsets. We will definitely use this property again!

Great stay.

The house was awesome. Located two houses down from the pool...and the walk to the beach was way closer than some of the other properties we've stayed at. (The house is multilevel, so if you have eldery guests with you, make sure they are ok with stairs). Great place to stay.
