The apartment features 2 king-sized beds, with luxury towels, luxury bed linens and 3 separate AC controls. Each bedroom has its own enclosed balcony. The living room features a sofa couch, which can double as a queen bed as well as an ottoman that folds into a twin bed.

A large kitchen area with ample countertops including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, hot pot/rice maker, blender and sink area, provides you with all of the basic necessities for creating your own meals during your stay! For families we have a high chair as well as a pack and play.

The bathroom features a toilet, bidet, shower, sink and vanity with basic soap and towels included. This apartment is perfect for students, professionals, world travelers, or someone just looking to escape the big city life and stay close to the beach! We have beach towels, chairs and umbrellas!

Conveniently located just 15 minutes away from Honolulu, and just 5 minutes away from the central Waikiki area, discover local restaurants with a variety of cuisines, experience the local nightlife, and take advantage of all that this exciting destination has to offer!

No parties or unauthorized guests are allowed. Please remove your shoes when entering the home. No pets are allowed in the space, and no smoking is allowed in the apartment or on the premises.

Parking pass is available at the Ilikai. Please park only in the designated stall. While you are in a safe area, please be sure to monitor your belongings and lock your vehicle as a precaution.

Please respect the neighbors and monitor your noise levels. Due to the convenient central location of the space, some noise from the street, music, pool, or restaurant patio areas is possible from the surrounding area. Noise levels are typically minimal. Quiet hours are in place from 10:00pm - 7:00am.

Nearby is a large grocery store where you can pick up food, beach, and toiletry essentials.

During your stay, should anything become broken or damaged, please notify the host immediately so that repairs and reporting can be done in a timely manner. Unreported damages may result in a $200 fee and being reported to AirBNB.

Plusses- great views from both lanais, excellent location near shopping and dining, parking pass with room, and responsive host. There was a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts left on the counter. Minuses- Not a luxury accommodation. Room needs extreme updating. The building is 60 years old, and room appears to be as old. Bedroom number two had poor privacy. The partition between the main room and bedroom two was inoperable. Power outlets were difficult to access. It has no accessibility directly to a bathroom. Its bathroom is accessed from the main room. And the only useable outlet was opposite the sink and near the ceiling. Kitchen area had cabinets that looked homemade and old. They didn't open easily or close properly. Power outlets were too few and poorly located. Room had way too many mirrors. This is not part of modern luxury more suited to the pre seventies. There were too many unnecessary nick knacks all around. Window shades were frayed. And one complaint from all in our group was the lack of storage room in all areas. The closets mostly full of items for the rooms and little room for personal belongings. In the master bedroom, our friends complained about the glass block wall in the bathroom. They felt that it didn't provide needed privacy. This was in addition to lack of storage. We were there for 2 weeks and had to live out of our suitcases. This is totally unacceptable for the price paid. Elevator and power issues, though not your fault, was an issue.

I’ve been running this as a rental for a few years and I’ve never heard anyone say this wasn’t a luxury unit. As many issues mentioned were either minor or oversights. I feel like the unhappiness during your stay was probably mostly due to having an elderly group and non working elevators and electrical issues which I’m sorry about. I don’t have control over that but they are working now. These issues affected your ability to enjoy the unit and this has been turned onto issues with the unit itself. In terms of the decor, it is as shown in the pictures. It seems odd that if one doesn’t like the decor they would book the unit and then leave a negative comment about it. I personally like the decor but I understand not everyone will, but that is known before booking as it’s shown in the pictures. I feel like other issues could have been solved with some communication. In terms of the partition, it is working, but if you had trouble I could have asked someone to come over and help you with it. For power outlets, the bidets for the toilets require power and there is an outlet right next to the sink. Perhaps you did not see it. In almost every room I have left extra power outlets so that people can plug in their devices. The lamps have USB connectors as well. In terms of window shades being frayed I have looked at the window shades and don’t see any fraying. The glass block wall is translucent and is blocked by a mirror on the other side as shown in the bedroom pics. In terms of storage space there is also a dresser that is shown in the picture. So there is storage space that could have been used. One closet has an extra portable mattress for guests which can be moved if needed. There is enough space that one doesn’t have to keep everything in a suitcase.
